  • I was in town for a day and Tim was quick to get back to me. His place felt safe and was kept very clean. Certainly a pleasure to stay at his place.

  • Tim is a great host for a stay in Atlanta. I would Definitely recommend his to anyone. I've heard the same from others that have airbnbd with him. Goes out of the way to help in many ways too.

  • Even though I couldn't meet Tim, his roommate Roger is kind guy. He offered some basic things and let me take a rest in cozy room. Wifi works well. I feel the lack of breakfast.:)

  • Excellent stay! House was clean, guests were friendly. Tim was a very accommodating host.

  • Let me start off by saying that Tim was a gracious host and very responsive before and during my stay. That being said, the property, while quant and sufficient on the inside, also has several drawbacks. First, the neighborhood. As Tim has rebuked people who have identified it as a sketchy neighborhood as "spending too much time in the suburbs" let me preface my assessment by saying I've lived in Detroit for the past 6 years. This area was by no means idyllic or convenient. Not that I ever felt unsafe, but it should be known that even my cab driver insisted I had the wrong address and demanded that I give him the money right before he dropped us off so he could peel out. Additionally, Tim has also defended cockroach allegations from previous guests. This again I can default to my housing history in Detroit. I know a cockroach when I see one. And I saw one. And it was huge. And it was unequivocally a cockroach.

Aside from the neighborhood and the insect, the house was perfect for what me and my conference buddy needed (just one night at a cheaper than a hotel rate). Great amenities (washer and dryer, dishwasher, etc). Very friendly property manager. And adorable kittens that greeted us in the morning.

    Response from Tim:

I would recommend taking Marta to my place from the airport it's less expensive and it's a very short walk ti my house. I am also happy to pick guests up at the marta station for free if requested or from the airport for a fee. cab companies are ripofff. This is the south and we have had a lot of rain this summer so water bugs (aka palmetto bugs are common). Also they are filming a major motion picture in my neighborhood with Colin Ferrel and Anthony Hopkins. So lots if my guests have got to meet them while they have been here

  • Perfect!
Tim is a really great host, he told me the good stuff to do in Atlanta, we talked sometimes just to see how was my day, what I wanted to do next.
There were people coming and going, I met some nice people there, Tim really knows how to manage the house and the guests.
The house is good too, I had my own bedroom (TV, private exit door), you can have access to all part of the house, kitchen, bathroom, yard, WiFi.
Good price and by taking the bus, in just 30 min from the city.

  • We stayed in Atlanta and enjoyed our Air B&B experience. The home and host are lovely.
The private entrance was nice and the location was pretty close to things, we drove everywhere we wanted to go.
It was a good nights sleep and a comfortable place to be.

  • We didn't get to meet Tim. But we enjoyed our stay overall. He provided an additional air mattress for us and pumped it after I told him that it was deflated. The neighborhood is a little sketchy. But the house looks very secure.

About
I am a very relaxed and easygoing and open minded guy looking to host people and make new friends around the world. I have always wanted to work in the hospitality industry since I was a kid it was a dream of mine to own my own bed and Breakfast. I lived in my home on Tift Ave for almost eleven years. I have hosted many friends and travelers from around the world in my historic home. Now that I found out about Air BNB, I am opening my home to you. I now have four properties close to downtown Atlanta two in historic Capital View neighborhood and two in Historic Adair Park neighborhood. they are both very close to downtown and walking distance from the marta train station and bus stops so Its very easy to get around the city without the need for a car. Several of the homes also can be booked entirely for larger groups.I also have many hostel spaces available great for travelers on a budget. I love to share travel stories drink good wine and eat good food. I like almost anything as far as food goes and red and white white alike as well (email hidden). I really don't have any major rules just be a polite guest as I will be a great host and even show you around if you need me to. I also love the outdoors and know some great places to hike in Atlanta. I also love to cook, drink wine or beers and eat good food and have a Nice large kitchen for you to make yourself at home in as well as each house has a great private backyard and fire pit and large front porches, The house I live at on Tift Ave has a hot tub that's great for skinny dipping and also has 3 cats and a small dog you will love. My other properties do not have any animals unless a guest happens to have one.
