About the Area:

Piazza di Spagna:
In Tridente’s Area, this square has long had a reputation as a Bohemien place: Keats and Shelley hung out here, now in the house where they lived there is a Museum: the Keats-Shelley Memorial House.
Nowadays it’s the heart of the city’s shopping district and the best place to reach all most famous monuments by walking.
Also, it’s a short walk from the Trevi Fountain.

Trevi Fountain:
This fountain almost fills the entire square, its Rome’s most famous fountain, maybe you know the movie “La dolce vita”, where the actress Anita Ekberg splashed here.
The water comes from the “acqua virgo”, a 1st century's underground aqueduct.
The name Trevi referes to “tre vie” (three roads) that converge at the fountain.
It’s traditional to throw a coin into the fountain to ensure your return to the Eternal City.

Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna:
The gallery exposes the most prestigious painting's collections and sculpture of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries: works of artists belonging to major contemporary movements such Neoclassicism, Romanticism and Impressionism of Macchiaioli movement in Tuscany. There are also works by Goya, Géricault, Delacroix, Blake, Duchamp, de Chirico, Cara, Miró, Kandinsky, Klimt, Degas, Monet, Cezanne, Modigliani, Mondrian, Van Gogh, Courbet. Interesting is the "Sketch for the tomb of Vittorio Alfieri" by Canova; beautiful is the "Three Ages" by Klimt, two metaphysical works of Carra and Morandi and "Le Cabanon de Jourdan" Cezanne.

  • Fantastic accommodation very close to all the major attractions in Rome! Lovely service with great advice on places to eat! Location is quiet at night, with many little places to eat on the street! Highly recommend! 5 stars!

  • This apartment was perfect for our first stay in Rome. A few blocks from Trevi fountain or the spanish steps made it a great place to end the day, roaming around at night with a gelato. The apartment is quite spacious, including the bathroom, which was welcomed after some of the smaller hotels we had stayed in. Everything was clean and as shown in the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked, and the Despar around the corner made having breakfast in the room very easy. I would highly recommend this apartment.

  • This is a great apartment with a wonderful location near the Spanish Steps. We easily walked their with our bags from the metro and Ada was waiting for us at the apartment. This a lovely place, much more spacious then the pictures make it look. Ada has really made the place feel cozy for her guests. There is some noise from the street at night, but that was too be expected and it did not disturb us at night. I would definitely stay here again.

  • The location, apartment and communication with Ada and Nuccio were all very good, as has been covered in many previous reviews. We arrived at Rome Airport and were met by a chauffeur arranged by Nuccio, after a long flight that arrived 24 hours late, this made our arrival so much easier. Rome can be crowded and chaotic but this apartment was a great place to come back to, I hope to stay here again one day.

  • This was my first use of Airbnb and this apartment turned out to be an ideal choice. I appreciated the welcome by Ada's sister on my arrival and meeting Ada when I departed. It is a well-equipped apartment that had all I needed, including a very comfortable bed, and is well located for access to all the sites I visited in central Rome. It was so nice to return to after a day's walking to relax on the sofa with a cup of tea.

  • Nuccio met us at the apartment and showed us around in the apartment. It is a charming apartment with an airy bedroom with a lovely view and full kitchen. Location is great! Only a few blocks from the mainstrip of Del Corso and near both the Spanish Steps and Fontana di Trevi and of course the rest of sightseeing musts of Rome. We never had to use the Metro, but Spagna is next to spanish steps which is close by. We walked everywhere due to the location of the apartment. Approx 30 minutes walk to Vatican, approx 10-20 minutes to Termini and Colosseum etc.
