Nowadays it’s the heart of the city’s shopping district and the best place to reach all most famous monuments by walking.
Also, it’s a short walk from the Trevi Fountain.

Trevi Fountain:
This fountain almost fills the entire square, its Rome’s most famous fountain, maybe you know the movie “La dolce vita”, where the actress Anita Ekberg splashed here.
The water comes from the “acqua virgo”, a 1st century's underground aqueduct.
The name Trevi referes to “tre vie” (three roads) that converge at the fountain.
It’s traditional to throw a coin into the fountain to ensure your return to the Eternal City.

  • Nuccio was waiting for us and very welcoming even though our flight had been delayed four hours. He listened to our interests and had some good recommendations. We all had a very pleasant conversation as he showed the workings of the apartment which had traditional Italian elements and thoroughly modern amenities. While admittedly tour groups walk by such a central location, we learned quickly to navigate the city from there whether walking very safely at night or hopping on the Metro to search out other parts of Rome. Great hosts, delightful apartment and a terrific location.

  • My 14-year-old daughter and I spent 2 nights in this apartment in early March, and enjoyed it very much. The hosts were excellent communicators and someone was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived from the airport. The location of this apartment could not be more ideal- so close to the Spanish Steps and the Metro stop there which we used both days. The apartment is clean and the internet strong and dependable (VERY important if you are traveling with a teenager). The bed was comfortable, and the rest of the living space was quite ample for our purposes (we stuck to a busy schedule of sight-seeing during our short visit, but did manage to lounge on the couch for a few hours one evening). Though we did not use the laundry or cook anything (other than boiling water to make tea since outside food options were so appealing), the place seemed well-equipped. We did take advantage of the library of guidebooks available for borrowing. The elevator (though so tiny that we could barely fit in both of us and our 2 carry-on bags) was a most welcome feature, as it would have been tough dragging our suitcases up and down the stairs. I highly recommend this place!

  • Nuccio was lovely, meeting us at the apartment and showing us around, and allowing us a late check-out to accommodate for our flights. It is a charming apartment with an airy bedroom with a lovely view, spacious lounge, and full kitchen. The bathroom also has laundry facilities, which is great. Location is perfect! Only a few blocks back from the main strip of Del Corso, and near the Spanish Steps, many restaurants, supermarkets, and most importantly right across the road from a delicious gelateria! Having stayed in Rome before, this was certainly the best place we have stayed.

  • My mother and I were in beautiful Roma for a week. The apartment was beautifully located with most sites in walking distance. 5minutes to your left is the Spanish steps and 5 minutes to your right is the Trevi fountain. Which we walked to most days and a lovely walk at night too. The streets around the apartment are very safe and have a cool vibe in the evenings. As a young adult it was about a ten minute walk to rome's shopping central and souvenir shops just below the apartment itself. The apartment was very spacious and exactly what we saw in the pictures. I would recommend this apartment in a heart beat.

  • Ada and Nuccio were very responsive hosts in planning my arrival. I booked the apartment for two days in January. The apartment was as shown in the photos. Perhaps because it was in the damp month of january the building and apartment had somewhat of a musty smell. The location was very convenient to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Although the street noise was occasionally loud it became quiet at night and sleeping was no problem. The only problem I had was that on the second morning of my stay the police had barricaded off the street preventing my ability to access the apartment, due to a loud riot/political gathering of. Couple hundred demonstrators just about 50 feet from the apartment. Because of the inconvenience of having to negotiate my way past the police line to get to the apartment, i moved to a nearby hotel for my second night. Obviously the political riot was not the fault of my hosts. In the end though I felt I needed to have easy access to the apartment without having to negotiate with police to get there.

  • It was absolutely great! Very kind and always welcome owners Ada and Nuccio. Apartment clean and has a very good location - if you go to the left, you will get to the Spanish steps; if you go to the right, you will get to the Trevi fontain :-)
Me and my friend enjoyed our vacation in Rome and had a good time! Thank you a lot, guys!!!

  • Amazing location and great apartment. Nuccio met us, provided us with some helpful info and was very friendly. Would definitely love to stay here again if we're lucky enough to get back to Rome one day in the future. FYI, loved eating dinner in nearby Trastevere - try Ai Marmi - wow!
