My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at Dar Sienna! The location was great, the view from the terrace was amazing and Sayeed was so helpful and even came to the apartment at 3 o'clock in the morning to take us to catch a taxi. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Enjoyed our stay at Sonhild's place in Fes - lovely home and while our room (Celeste) was comfortable, it is smaller than appears in photos (although description does specify that it's 'cozy'). Toilet and shower facilities particularly tight. Communication with Sonhild was excellent - she was quick to respond to my queries and provided a very detailed and helpful guide to Fes and the neighborhood. Said was a gem - helpful and kind throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, although on our final day we had to check out early and disappointing that take-away breakfast comprised of only packaged chocolate sponge bar and yogurt. Beautiful views from the terrace and rooms, and location could not be better! Minor detail, but we found sheets to be very scratchy - perhaps they were just new (good thing). Also would be nice to have small amenities such as soap and shampoo available on arrival (Said did bring us soap once requested) - nice touches that other Airbnbs seem to offer. Overall while I think few details lacking, I would stay here again - lovely home operated by two extremely helpful people. Thanks, Sonhild and Said!

Perfectly located in the centre of the medina, the terrace has a fantastic view, the house is very nice and clean. This place is impossible to find by yourself, the medina is a beautiful maze, make sure you arrange for pick up when you arrive :)

Staying at Dar Sienna was a delight. The home is beautiful, and I'm confident I had the best room if all. The home's caretaker/manager and your friend/ally is Sayieed, and he is even more wonderful than the home itself (hard to believe but true). I am so glad I found this place.

We loved our stay in Dar Sienna! Saïd picked us up from the bus stop, regardless of our early arrival (5 am). He was very friendly and helpful. We found the terrace (with it's stunning panoramic view on the old city) of Dar Sienna to be a perfect hideaway from the bustling medina and the delicious and hearty breakfast tasted even better from there. Thank you!

This home is one you won't want to miss staying in, with possibly the best views around and access to the beating heart of the old medina. As described, it is an oasis in the vibrant labyrinth of Fes, with relaxing spaces on the terrace and a comfy room with boiling hot water. Said met us at the bus station after a late arrival and cooked the best meal we had during our time in Fes. Breakfast was good with a couple more options than most places we stayed in. We were lucky to have had Sonhild around to share her local knowledge and chat with about her experiences in the city. The price was very reasonable considering comfort, views, and location. We will defintely stay here again if we ever go back to Fes.

Restoring a house in the medina has been the result of an ongoing love affair with Fez, and here we are now, Dar Sienna. Welcome-Marhaban.
