Response from Sonhild:
Our house, as clearly stated on Airbnb is a peaceful little oasis in the car-free medina, to retreat to after exploring all the surrounding markets, tourist sights and craft workshops. We regularly host SWT's and our little oasis as well as Sayeed's helpfulness and kind nature are much appreciated. Prior to arrival, like all our guests, you were provided with an 8 page document of useful tips and cultural information to help you prepare for medina life. On arrival all guests are provided with a map, a mobile phone for local calls, the manager's number to call 24/7 and a list of French/English/Arabic vocabulary. Sayeed was available to accompany you to places, and also walk you back home, which he did on several occasions. We are sorry to hear that despite the above and our best efforts to accommodate your changing plans/needs you did not enjoy your stay. Perhaps a modern hotels in the Ville Nouvelle (new town) might have been more suitable for you.

Thank you for your appreciation Aimee. I do believe we have the best view in the whole of the medina...360 degrees over the ancient city. Delighted you agree!

My stay at Dar Sienna was wonderful. Sonhild went above and beyond in communicating with me before my arrival, and Ahmed and Said were extremely helpful in picking me up and getting me situated. The room was clean (and air conditioned! - a big perk in Fes in August). I would say …
