  • We had a great time in Jacksonville and at Patti's who is a lovely host. Loved the location, the room, and going biking--Patti lent us bikes and helmets. Plan to come back and stay again. Great bed, slept well. Patti thoughtful and helpful!

  • Good location, easily accessible from major travel routes and within walking distance for eating establishments and places of interest.
From the moment we walked in, we felt "at home" and it was evident that Patti had put lots of thought into making our accommodation both fully functional and relaxing. Whatever the benefits of the property however, you still need a host who is both friendly and caring and we are pleased to confirm Patti fits into that category perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we have every confidence that other travellers will do likewise.

  • We were delighted to find this lovely home in the Riverside area close to where we lived 15 years ago. Our upstairs room with a private bath and a window that we could open in the evening was comfy and private. Enjoyed sitting on porch swing, sipping coffe on Sunday morning. With the Cool Moose restaurant within walking distance we enjoyed our favorite coffee, the familiar Maine decor and muffins hot out of the oven. Patti made us feel right at home. Definitely will be back.

  • Lovely home in walking distance to shops & restaurants. Accommodations were clean, bed was comfortable and host was very courteous and friendly. We would stay there again for sure!

  • I'm sure there's not a better place to stay in Jacksonville. Patti and Brad were friendly, excellent hosts, and the cats Vincent and Bear were delightful. Patti made sure I had all I needed and gave me info on the neighborhood as well as a bike to explore the wonderful tree-lined streets. The former B & B room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a great sitting area, en suite bath, and hallway mini-kitchen. On a quiet street yet within a few minutes walk from the restaurants and shops of the attractive and interesting Riverside area. I had good meals at Cafe Freda, Cool Moose, and Soups On. The location is close to downtown and easy to get to other areas for day trips: Little Talbot State Park, Fernandina Beach, Jacksonville Beaches. I spent a week here and could easily have stayed longer enjoying the company, the house and the neighborhood. All my expectations were exceeded and many thanks to you Patti and Brad!

Patti was very helpful in recommendations. Definitely would recommend them to friends and family visiting Jacksonville.

  • Patti's house is so very lovely! Walking distance from all the great parts of Riverside. Easy access to the city bus, which can take you right into downtown. I am from Jacksonville, and I chose Patti's because of the great location for being in town without a car, but the beautiful big house and Patti's hospitality made our stay cozy and easy. Can't wait to visit again!

I am a renal dietitian by profession and ran a traditional B&B in my home for over 8 years. I am making some changes in my life where I can have more time for my pottery which I've always done on the side and am working on obtaining my massage therapy license. My husband is an engineer and likes to tour on bicycle. We both enjoy nature, art, movies, hiking, kayaking sailing and meeting new people.
