I booked the Sugar Pine Cottage for two nights for 14 people, and it worked out great! I was a bit worried about the tight quarters, but people doubled up in the larger beds and two rollaways and a queen sized air mattress were provided by the hosts. Craig and Laurie were very accommodating when I needed to up the number of people from 12, and even left us a bottle of wine at check-in :)
The cabin isn't too far from Yosemite Valley, though printing directions is a must (cell/GPS service doesn't work past a certain point). The Wifi in the house was great, and there was plenty of parking.
Thank you for a great weekend!
Laurie and Craig were wonderful hosts. They were responsive and attentive and made our trip wonderful.
In all, the drive is about an hour to get to any of the main parts of Yosemite, but I will absolutely stay at the Cottage for my next trip - their are some incredible views on the drive as well.
They provided a book with some of the best hikes in the area, which we used everyday. Also, can't recommend the Rainbow Pools swimming hole highly enough.
Very convenient for Yosemite National Park (about a 30 min drive), the barbecue is great for dinners, Jim the manager was on hand for any question we had (and tried so hard to help us order some PPV on cable!) - was a great stay, would definitely stay again.
The cottage was really good and cozy and had all the items one can think of in their house (may be more than that :) ).
All the kids enjoyed very much as it had lot of stuffs to play with as well.
Thanks a lot to Laurie and Craig for their directions to the cottage as it helped a lot though we did lost on 1st day :) but that ride was also a fun.
Great place to stay at when you're visiting Yosemite! It was a very cosy and comfortable cottage :)
Thank you to Laurie and Craig for allowing us to stay in their lovely cottage. We were greeted by reminders, guide books, recommendations and even eXtra water for those long Yosemite hikes. Thanks for your accomodations!
