We have the best wifi service that is available to us, but we have limited bandwidth. Once it is used up, we can add tokens; once they are used up, it costs us to replenish the bandwidth. We ask that guests please limit uploading, downloading and streaming (we include premium movie channels on the satellite TV) so that guests later in the month do not run out. If you do have issues with wifi, we ask that you please call us.
No smoking inside the house. There is a can for cigarette ashes and butts on the deck.
No pets allowed.
When you leave the cottage, we request that you please turn the thermostat temperature down to 60 degrees in order to conserve fuel.
Do not make the beds on the day of your departure so that we know which ones were used.
Please do not put any paper products in the toilets except for toilet tissue. Discard feminine hygiene products in the garbage. Small amounts of food scraps may be put in the kitchen sink garbage disposal (the switch is on the front of the sink cabinet, covered by a switch cover). Recycle items such as glass and cans go in the black plastic garbage can. Everything else can be compacted in the kitchen compactor. To operate it, step on the foot pedal at the bottom which will cause it to open. Do not try to pull it open with the handle at the top. Do not place any garbage outside the cottage as it will attract animals and will end up all over.
Please do not start any fire outside the cottage without prior permission from us. The Fire Service is very strict and we need to verify that it is allowed first. If you violate this, you will be responsible for the fine. There is a garden hose next to the front door that can be connected to the faucet and used in case of emergency.
