  • Laurie and Craig were outstanding hosts and the cabin was great. It was clean and comfortable and fully stocked. The only drawback is the distance to Yosemite national park (about 1.5 hours), but staying in the park itself is probably the only other option. The cabin was a great choice for our family of 7. Checkin and checkout was easy and Craig even stopped by with a bottle of wine for us. Beautiful and remote area.

  • The house was as advertised, and clean. I never met the Laurie and Craig, but they were good hosts. I really enjoyed the stay.

  • Great spacious cottage in the redwoods. Well equipped kitchen & gas gril, nice little back porch. Helpful binder with hiking tips: we took an easy (kid friendly) afternoon hike to Diana falls upon arrival - spectacular!

  • One of the best vacations I have done in a great while! This cottage is absolutely beautiful! Laurie and Craig were really helpful, providing us with the useful directions so we did not have to use the dangerous roads. They even provided us with great wine. I wish we could have had the chance to meet them. The cottage has got everything that we needed. The beds were really comfortable. The location is very quiet, just lovely among all the trees in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

    Response from Laurie And Craig:

Thank you, Monina! I am sorry we didn't get to meet you, too. Thanks for the comment on the couch - we have had over 500 people stay there in the last 1-1/2 years and some are harder on furniture than others! We will take your comment seriously.

  • Clean and cozy cottage. Lots of space, well stocked and having the two bathrooms was nice. Stayed here for a girls weekend getaway to Yosemite and we had a great time.

  • Craig and Laurie's cozy cottage was fully equipped and well prepared with everything that we needed. You don't need to worry if you forgot anything. We noticed that they even had the a little welcome fold on the toilet paper and the kitchen paper tower!! That was sweet! They have some hiking information for Yosemite Park at the house. It takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to the Yosemite Park from the house. Everything was lovely and thoughtful, thank you Craig and Laurie!

  • Had a great time, but... The cottage is in major need of new linens, furniture, etc. The couches were so dusty and old that anyone that sat on them started sneezing right away. Several of the beds were uncomfortable because the mattresses were so old you could feel the springs. If the owners spent a few thousand dollars buying some new furnishings, this could be a good spot. It was very quiet. Pretty good location near Yosemite and Don Pedro.

    Response from Laurie And Craig:

I'm sorry....I tried to replicate this guest's experience, but could not re-create the dust and sneezing. Although, I did not jump on the furniture or dive from the balcony.

  • The cottage had everything needed from kitchen utensils to toothpaste, shampoo, even beach towels! The location was close to a supermarket and close to some sites to see as the hosts listed in a very useful binder directory they have made for their guests. Great place for families, couples getaway, group couples. :)
