Fully furnished suite with kitchen, bathroom, breakfast counter, sitting area with sofa, and queen-sized bed. Private patio entrance opens out onto large yard. Stay close to downtown, SoCo, and artsy East Austin. This quiet neighborhood just off of Woodland Avenue has beautiful old oak trees, so it stays pleasant and shady through the summer. Nearby city bus routes, so it is easy and inexpensive to get around, even if you don't have a car. (Avoid the hassles of parking, too!) Or rent a bike instead of a car. Within easy reach of the airport.
Stays of 10 nights or more are $50/night. Please ask and we can send a special offer with the reduced pricing.
Higher rates may apply during holidays, special events, depending on length of your stay.
Please note, although there is a wireless internet connection, there is not a tv in the studio.

The Woodland Studio was, for the most part, an excellent experience. The location was idle, minutes away from downtown and South Congress. It was right by a bunch of great restaurants and shops. Some nights we were able to walk from downtown all the way home, though it was a bit of a trek. Karen was very helpful and left great detailed instructions for the studio. It was full of any amenities that you may need, clean, extremely well organized, and a lot more spacious then the photos led on.
The only minus to the place was the upstairs residents. During the afternoon hours they can get a little noisy. Just be aware that through out your stay you will hear them from time to time.
Besides that it was private, located in a beautiful safe neighborhood and had an idle location, I would recommend it.
I had a very pleasant stay at the studio. It has a nice atmosphere, is spacious including the direct connection and view to the garden, although a bit dark. The pictures in the listing does not give a good impression, it is much better!
The apartment was clean and has all you need for a comfortable stay, I was there 6 days for SXSW.
Karen was there for a warm welcome and gave some helpful tips for getting around in the neighbourhood.
I definitely would recommend this place for a Austin experience.
The apartment was clean, had all the furniture/cookware needed, and a huge backyard. Parking and commuting are easy from the location. The host is very friendly and leaves contact information readily available. My parents were thrilled with their stay and so glad they didn't go for a hotel. There were also snacks for guests, recycling, menus, and other information left out. Many restaurants and cafes are walkable. The neighborhood is safe and close to downtown. You really can't get a better deal or experience, highly recommended.
I enjoyed staying at this apartment. It was very cozy. Karen was very helpful and sweet. The studio is a lot bigger in reality.
My boyfriend and I stayed during a music and film festival. While Karen was not in town during our trip, she made herself always available to us if we ever needed anything. The studio is very close to everything that we needed. It’s a short cab ride to downtown and there even is a bus stop less than a 5 minute walk away. As others have said, the space is much larger than pictured and it was a great place for us to stay. We felt safe and comfortable in the neighborhood and we always had a good nights rest. I was very satisfied with our trip. Thank you!
Had a week stay in Austin for Fantastic Fest and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Karen was lovely and informative. The place is indeed MUCH bigger and more charming than the pictures make it seem. Very quiet and safe area. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at the studio for a month while we looked at housing in Austin and we're happy that we did. The studio is located very close to SoCo and Downtown, especially if you have a car. There's usually an ample amount of Car2Gos within walking distance as well. Bus stops are also well within walking distance.
The studio itself is well-equipped with just about everything you could need during a short term stay. It's clean and in a quiet area. Although you'll be below the upstairs tenants, we had absolutely no problems with them during our month there. In fact, when we had to have some things mailed to us, they were great about getting them to us, which we really appreciated.
Karen was a nice host. She made sure we had everything we needed and was easy to get into contact with. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a more smooth experience.
I handle the reservations at the studio on the lower level of a house that belongs to a good friend of mine. I really enjoy this part of town, and it is great to be offering comfortable & homey lodging for people coming from around the world to experience Austin.
