Helene was gone, but her neighbor was able to help us on our stay. She did help us prior to arriving since we arrived very late. The place was as advertised and was exactly what we expected. It served as a great location to see Avignon and the surrounding area. The 2 bathrooms with showers were great since we had 5 people. Very pretty area and great for relaxing.
Hélène is definitely a great host that I'll recommend to any airbnb users. Although she is in Paris and we never actually met her, she still managed to make everything just right and fine to her guests. Her neighbor Carole, though speak French only, was there to make sure everything worked well for us. The house is not brand new nor modern, but it is a great one and comfortable one to experience Provence with the peaceful and calm little village around. I'm sure that if someday I come to visit Provence again, this house will still be my choice to stay at.
Helene's home is centrally located between Avignon, Arles, and St. Remy. The town is small, but cozy and an ideal location for visiting Provence. The neighbors are friendly and the the home is just a few steps from the local supermarket and two town bars. The home itself contains everything you need for a pleasant visit. Helene was very attentive and responsive as a host.
Lovely quiet old house in a beautiful and interesting village - with a good shop 50m away. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and we liked the old stone staircases. Helene was a perfect and attentive host. Her friend Carole next door was there to check we had all we needed too. The village is so close to so many interesting places - Avignon, Arles, Pont du Gard, etc. It couldn't be better placed to explore the region. If you're considering this house, I would definitely recommend it. We had a great stay. Thank you Helene
Staying at Hélène's village house was like taking a step back in time... but with the comfort of modern life! Having two bathrooms in a two bedroom house is definitely a blessing and a time saver. This little village was the perfect point from which to explore Provence, and Hèléne had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Although we didn't meet Hélène (her neighbour Carole handed the keys to us), communication with her was speedy and easy, and the information about the house and the area was excellent. We will definitely come back to Provence sooner than later, and when we do we will not hesitate to stay at Hèléne's place again.
Hélène is the most amazing host - although she is based in Paris, she does everything she can to make you feel welcome, from organising a friendly welcome by her neighbour to letting you know about tourist attractions. Most of impressive of all was the care she took to keep us informed of the unusual storms and floods that were taking place when we were there and making sure we were safe and aware of the best tourist attractions to visit since the flooding was affecting some those we wished to visit. The village is absolutely perfect, small, pretty but not clogged with tourists and the house is close to easy parking if you're scared of those narrow village roads. The house itself is very charmingly decorated and well equipped. The location is excellent for visiting many of the major tourist sites around.
Merci!!.

About the Host, Hélène
