A simple 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom (hence shared with home owners) townhouse located in a quiet area off of South Main Street on the bus route. Spare bedroom (blue room) with full size bed with memory foam topper (as in photo) at price listed. This room would be comfortable for 2 people. If you are 3 people and want to all be in one room, the "coral" room is available. There is an organic queen size bed and you may use a twin mattress to accommodate 1 more person. This room may also be used for just one or two people but you must pay for 3 guests regardless. If you prefer the "coral" room please indicate that in your request or it will be assumed you would like the blue room. There are 3 independent indoor/outdoor cats who live with me so you must be cat-friendly.
House is across the street from First and Main Shopping Center, home of Bull and Bones Restaurant and Bar, an Italian, Mexican and also a Sushi Restaurant. There is also a Thai restaurant and French bakery as well as Kroger, an international grocery store and a health food store all within walking distance from the house.

Please feel free to contact me for pricing questions if that is confusing. Also, if you are a party of four or interested in a full house rental please see my other listing.
You will have access to the living room that has Hulu and Netflix available on the T.V., and the kitchen with all its amenities. Just remember it is all shared with the owners.

This was my first time using Airbnb - it was a wonderful experience. Before the trip even began I felt welcomed with open arms. Any questions I had were promptly answered. Upon my arrival Laurel & Eric made me feel right at home. There were so many nice touches that made it more than just staying in a room at someone's house. I can't say enough good things about them and how comfortable they made my stay. I loved being greeted by Lilly (their sweet dog) and Kaya & Lycan (their adorable kitties) I feel like I met new friends and if I ever have to go back to Blacksburg I would love to stay there again. They are 2 awesome and interesting people!!! :-)
Laurel and Eric were so kind they accepted my request to stay one night with a rather short notice. They are truly great folks! I was exhausted by the time I got there, and I needed a good rest. The bed was very comfortable, the place was quiet, the furry companions were very nice, too...I got the rest I needed. I liked the vegetarian rules and I appreciated the good coffee and to-go cup I could use. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
My sister and I were only in Blacksburg for one night, but Laurel and Eric were very kind and welcoming. Parking was exceptionally easy. There are several cats and a dog in the house, all of which were friendly. We also very much enjoyed the french press coffee in the morning!
Laurel and Eric made our stay warm and welcoming. They gave us tips on fun things to do in Blacksburg and made us feel like their home was our home from the moment we walked in. Thank you for your hospitality xo
Laurel and Eric were very friendly and welcoming. Laurel’s messages before we arrived were very helpful. Their place was easy to find. It is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the freeway and downtown. They were both there to meet us, though Laurel soon left for work. Eric showed us around and gave thorough instructions (though their set up is very simple and easy). We really enjoyed his dinner suggestion and had a great time taking in the bluesy open mic at The Cellar afterwards. Eric and Laurel’s place is very clean and tidy and comfortable, the pets are cute and sweet, and coffee and yummy banana bread was provided in the morning. We were made to feel free to come and go as we pleased which was really nice. They are great hosts!
I was a little nervous to try Air BNB for the first time with Laurel and Eric, but they spoiled me for any other experience. Staying with them was incredible; I was arriving late at night, but they made sure that I was aware of the lock and door system beforehand. Laurel's cooking was amazing; I stayed with my friend for Valentine's Day weekend, and we would constantly eat the delicious home made banana bread or cupcakes Laurel frequently made. The room itself was perfect; Laurel and Eric provided everything. Towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, wifi, everything. We had a couple inches of snow, and the heater in the room worked like a charm.
Sharing the bathrooms was never a problem. The pets were awesome! Lilly is adorable and even though I am allergic to cats there were no issues with the two cats. If you are coming to Blacksburg, stay with them! Their house is also really close to the bus stop, which helped making travel easier.
Laurel and Eric were great hosts. Laurel responded really quickly since I booked for the room the day of. They were really welcoming and friendly. The room was tidy and clean, I was provided with a complete variety of personal care amenities when I got there. I felt really comfortable during my stay. Laurel and Eric have awesome, cute pets at their home. Lilly the little dog was super friendly. It was a really great experience staying with them. Thank you Laurel and Eric.

We love traveling, running, volleyball, baking, gardening and playing with our non-human animal friends outside. Pretty laid back and quiet and love meeting people and hearing their stories.
