The cottage is a classic cute Manapouri house that sleeps five people in three bedrooms. It has lots of character and is in a great location, just a few minutes walk to the lake.
This house offers a cozy stay in a mountain cottage.
Welcome Home Cottage is a fully self contained cute character bach, located in Manapouri, on the edge of Fiordland National Park.
The cottage features superb mountain views, BBQ and outdoor area. There is also a huge backyard along with a working coal range, open fire, mountain bike and kayak for your use, plenty of books, games and DVDs to keep everyone entertained.

We would appreciate it if guests could leave the cottage in a clean and tidy state, similar to how they found it.
The accommodations were once again perfect for our needs. The fire was greatly appreciated when we arrived on a cold and rainy night.
Thank you for our stay in your rustic cottage. We enjoyed the open fire and the old style living. It was a great experience for our 3 children. It was in the perfect position for the Doubtful Sound Cruise and also to explore the Fiordland area. It was lovely to wake up to snow on our second morning.
This was a cosy home away from home, so peaceful. Having a log fire in the evening was an added bonus. Also access to bikes and kayak should we have had time to use them. Shame we were only there for one night on our way to Doubtful Sound, would have loved to have stayed longer.
Christine has been very helpful and she replied to my queries promptly. A lovely house to be staying in!
We didn't have the chance to meet Christine in person but her cottage is a great place to stay. The fire place is awesome especially during a cold night. If you're going to doubtful sound don't hesitate and sleep there. Manapouri lake is also very beautiful by the way!
The host was very good and the house was perfect. Neighborhood was lovely.
We love the outdoors, travelling and reading books by the fire. Airbnb has worked well for us - both renting our place in New Zealnd, and when we travel overseas.
