  • This was a great place to stay. Nestled in a lovely neighborhood near the beautiful parks, not far from any part of town. We had all the privacy we needed but also was able to have wonderful chats with our host about the city. The neighborhood felt very safe, markets and cafes nearby. Although the weather was very hot outside, the apartment was very comfortable with air conditioning and ceiling fans. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment and also hope to be able to return to BA and stay there again.

  • The room is just great (colourful walls, nice bed, sufficient closet) and is perfectly located close to the parks and to bus and subte. And Dee (Deirdre) is such a great host, so cordial and cheerful. She makes you feel like you are not just a guest, but as if the place is your parttime-home! She gives you all the necessary information about Bs. As. and she is always there for a nice chat. All in all I would not hesitate to stay again with her whenever I will be back in Bs. As. Thanks for all, Dee!

  • The apartment is tastefully appointed, with ample space and a truly enviable location in the most desirable neighborhood of BA, Palermo. Everything you could ever need for day-to-day life is on the same street, Oro, and a 5-block walk down Oro will bring you to the subway station and several bus lines for easy access to the rest of the city. Dierdre is an exemplary host and an invaluable cultural resource for all things porteño. Buenos Aires is a must-visit city, and this accommodation will certainly help you make the most of it. Gracias por todo, D!

  • Dierdre is a great host, very generous and friendly. And her place is in a great part of town. Not only is it a safe, beautiful neighborhood, but it's walking distance from many happening tango clubs. You can also easily walk to the green line Subte station at Plaza Italia. Overall, an awesome experience, and highly recommended.

  • All I can say is that Dierdre was a wonderful host and she had a very great place. Dierdre was very accommodating and very helpful. She provided me with directions, taught me how to get to places and recommended me different restaurants.

Her place in is in Palermo which is a neighborhood with great restaurants that are a short walk away. You can also walk to Sante Fe in a few minutes and take buses or the subway to any location.

If you're even remotely thinking about this place, I would book this.

  • This was my first experience using

Visited Buenos Aires briefly, and decided to spend a little extra and not stay in a hostel. I read through an article on Gizmodo that referred me to the site. Even though I was plenty skeptical of how it would turn out. I went ahead and decided to give it a try.

I gotta say rarely if ever does anything I've ever paid for on the Internet turned out to be this wonderful. I'll recommend the site with confidence to anybody now. What an amazing almost unexplainable experience!

Trust me, this wasn't like any Hostel, Hotel experience I've ever had. It was exactly like visiting an amazing close friend for a few days. It was extremely comfortable, and Dee's warm personality made me feel like I was in my home.

Dee is an absolute sweetheart, incredibly interesting, great taste in food, culture and music, speaks perfect English, and not only helped me understand where everything was in the city. She gave me the most excellent recommendations for excellent tango classes, shopping, great places to eat, and places to buy wine, and even introduced me to some of her incredible local friends.

For any other first-timers to this city, Palermo is the most happening neighborhood in Buenos Aires. Best nightlife that goes till morning, Best bars, Great food, Incredible parks, Zoos, Planetarium, even a gigantic Casino! The location of this BNB couldn't be any better for me. The whole city was a hop skip and a jump from Bus, Taxi, or City.

The street was well lit and bright, it was extremely safe, and had plenty of security. I completely fell in love with the exercising in the giant storybook park which is walking distance from the front entrance of her building. Every day was incredibly sunny and filled with giant geese, and little kids playing amongst joggers and beautiful girls on Rollerblades. I was even lucky enough to catch Laura marling's live set in the air at the Quilmes Rock festival as I jogged through the park.

Dee's home is beautiful, immaculate, and much nicer than any Hotel room I've ever been in. I've honestly stayed in deluxe suites in Las Vegas that were nowhere near as nice as her place. Fully furnished, and beautifully designed.

It was an absolute privilege to stay there. I can without a doubt, give this AIRBNB service, Dee and her home the highest recommendation.

Thank you for showing me how beautiful Buenos Aires can truly be.
