Michele's apartment was a nice place during our stay in Roma. He introduced us to the neighborhood and the running buses nearby and told us what stops to get off of where we wanted to go. Michele was accommodating and showed us around the apartment. Apartment area was safe to walk. There are wine bars and cafés in the alley area near his apartment, which we didn't quite get to enjoy since we were spending most time site seeing major attractions in Roma. We were comfortable and satisfied with our stay. Thank you Michele.
Michele met me at the Plaza Tiburtina right on time. Easy to get to from Termini (email hidden)e apartment is small but very sweet, clean and perfectly functional as well as beautiful. Neighborhood is colorful, especially with all the graffiti! Also it has great ambiance here in a local area right next to the ancient Roman wall. Lively area in the evening with so many bars/cafes and to stroll through, or sit and enjoy with the locals. The apt is cleverly decorated with antiques, small, but so much better than an ordinary hotel room! You might want to consider ear plugs for the late night (1am-3am)conversations on the street below, but otherwise a very comfortable bed and apartment. Oh, the new wifi works really well! Thank you Michele for the warm welcome, good advice and letting me enjoy a new area of Rome!
A great host, Miki provided very details instructions about how to get around and where the best shopping, restaurants and cafes were not just in the local neighbourhood but all over Rome. A lovely character filled apartment, much sweeter than a generic hotel room.
My husband and I greatly enjoyed this apartment in Rome and found the host Michele very friendly and helpful. He met us on time and helped with our luggage to the apartment. The neighbourhood is fulll of character, lots of students and locals and near public transport. There is a supermarket a few blocks away and many small shops to puchase necessities. Michele has good advice on eateries, sightseeing and transport options. The apartment is small but has a very comfortable bed, pillows and nice linen. The kitchen is equipped with quality pots and pans, nice plates and cutlery. There is also a good quality washing machine and italian coffee maker. Michele provides excellent coffee too! I recommend 'airplane goggles' if you are sensitive to light while sleeping. All in all, a great experience!
The bohemian apartment was very nice and clean, very interesting furniture, with unique pieces from all around the world. Inside you have everything you need, plates, glasses, towels etc...Very important: the tap water from the apartment is drinkable and very good! The apartment is located in San Lorenzo neighborhood, which is very close to Termini train and metro station-about 5 min walking distance, and about 10-15 min walking distance to Colosseum. The bus stop Nb. 71 is very close to the apartment-3 min, and it gets you to all important places. There are some restaurants and for the supermarket-open until 8 pm, so go earlier if you want to buy something. Miki was exellent host, he gave us map, bus schedule, and printed directions to the Colosseum. He also gave us tips about food, coffe and everything we asked. We would definitely stay there again!
Great and tastefully decorated apartment in quiet but superb location. Great communication and instructions from Michele even if we did get slightly lost only 50m from the meeting point. Michele came to the rescue in his car. The apartment had everything we needed. Thank you Michele for a wonderful stay in Rome.
The apartment is small but very sweet, clean and perfectly functional as well as beautiful. A wonderful place to stay as a couple or with a close friend. Michele is a great host, providing any information you would possibly need to have a great time in Rome. The St. Lorenzo area is lively, with lots of students, very central and just off the usual tourist areas, just perfect.
