Carolanne was a awesome host for our weekend Boulder trip. The directions were easy to follow and the check in process was simple. The accommodations had plenty of space with two comfy beds and extra blankets. Everything was clean and very comfortable.
Carolanne herself was super friendly and accommodating, she offered a lot of great recommendations for the Boulder and Denver area and her following her advice improved the experience of our trip. She even let us feed the chickens she keeps in the front yard. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Boulder.
Carolanne came to welcome us and even baked scones--very nice. Beautiful neighborhood near Chautauqua park and close to the University. Two clean, comfortable bed rooms with coffee maker, light snacks, books and local information. Bed rooms were a little dark, but that may be in part because the sun did not come out--rained all weekend. Clean bathroom as well with plenty of shampoo and soap. Clear directions to the place. Generally very thoughtful to make it easy for the guests. Quiet and pleasant. Gorgeous, private garden, but again, the weather did not cooperate. The host was very responsive to text messages and emails.
A friend and I visited Boulder to write a paper and hike. Carolanne was efficient with the process of booking and helpful and welcoming during our stay. The house was comfy and had all the things we needed for our short stay. The location was fabulous - a very short drive to Whole Foods and Starbucks (for working) and another very short drive to the trailheads. Definitely recommend Carolanne's place. Cheers.
My friend and I rented both rooms. They are exactly as pictured. Everything was clean and we appreciated the extra touches like the tea pot and tea bags. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. Carolanne lent us some rain boots because it was raining and/or snowing for much of our visit. The location is outstanding! We were close to the Boulder Creek pathway, Pearl St and hiking trails. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood which had interesting architecture and pretty gardens. If only we'd seen a little sunshine, it would have been perfect.
I had a fantastic time exploring Boulder on my own due in large part to this great space and the kind & helpful owners. Carolanne stayed in touch with me throughout my stay offering recommendations for where to go and even offering to transport me when I left. I was able to explore the area and really enjoy everything Boulder had to offer with this amazing home base. The closeness to the Flatirons hike was perfect and getting into downtown was incredibly easy. I'm so grateful for the way I knew they were there if I needed them, but didn't feel crowded in any way. I'd recommend this spot to anyone as a launching point and a resting space, and when I return to Boulder I definitely plan on staying there again.
