Clean, comfortable, and peaceful

Guests highlight the peaceful setting, comfortable bed, and sparkling clean space
Nestled in the country just far enough from town to provide some quiet time on relaxing on the porch and losing yourself in thought as you watch cows grazing and hear the hum of the windmill slowing moving with the light breeze.

Or spend your day on a scavenger hunt at the local antique shops within a few minutes of the Silos, in Carmine and Round Top.

Art Galleries, shopping, and fine dining are also minutes away. We suggest taking the back road and enjoying the journey.

The space
This silo is a one bedroom (queen) one bath, with a rain shower (with rain water), and seating area. The ceiling and rustic irrigation wheel light fixture must be seen to be appreciated. Coffee maker and coffee are provided, but we invite you to find your way to the Round Top coffee shop for a small town coffee shop experience awaits. The locals are friendly and have great stories.

Guest access
The garden between the silos is a great place to sit and relax. The windmill and cows (Butterscotch and Buttercup) in the pasture will transport you back to your grand parents farm. The donkeys are curious and like carrots. Their names are Penny (large brown one) and Jenny, Milly, and Dilly (Hard to tell them apart).

Other things to note
Carmine is home to several antique shops. It also has a great restaurant (JW's Steakhouse) and a convenience store.

Round Top is home to many retail shops, dining, and antiques. Some of our favorites are the Cottonseed Trading company, the Humble Donkey, the Stone Cellar, and Feed and Firewater. You can take hills road to 237 and take the main way into town, or for the slightly more daring you can take the back roads over to Round Top road and enjoy a peaceful serene drive to town with the windows down.

Junk Gypsy's is on the other side of Round Top and on the way to Warrenton the epicenter of the spring and fall Antique shows.

There is also a hidden gem on the other side of Warrenton on the way to Fayetteville - the Blue Mule Winery. An award winning full range of wines, hip crafts, and live music. A must see.
