  • Ange was our first Airbnb host, and she has set the bar high! We had just been cancelled on a few days before we were due to arrive in New York when we found this convenient room. Ange was prompt at replying to our request and we were booked in almost straight away. The apartment was easy to find, we were greeted by Ange on arrival and she was helpful with directions and had many suggestions with where to go and what to do in NYC. We stayed for about a week in the very spacious private bedroom. The apartment was very clean we loved having two bathrooms. The neighbourhood was a short walk from subway stations which made it very easy to get around and see the city.

  • Ange have been a good host. I stayed there 2 weeks. Chinatown was safe and only 10 min walk to most subway train.

Ange sent me some links to new york and what to see, and she told us about a good cocktail place 2 min from the house. It had the best drinks and live Jazz every tuesday.

The room was big and there were adopter and a hairdryer, where nice.
And the apartment have 2 badroom, that was where good.

    Thanks fore this time Ange

Location is safely and easy to get around Manhattan. Her apartment is close to the subway, accesible at 5-10 min, from Civic Center or Canal St.

  • I can definitely recommend staying at Ange's apartment. The room was perfect for my means and the location was a great base for travelling around Manhattan. The neighbourhood is busy but safe and there is plenty to explore around here. Ange is an extremely considerate host and will go out of her way to ensure you enjoy your stay at her place, offering advice on anything and everything. Overall, I had a great time staying in NYC and am happy with my choice of place to stay.

  • Loved the apartment, bright and spacious, cosy bed, excellent location

  • I had a great experience at Ange's! I loved the location. Many years ago, I lived in NYC in a tenement building on the upper East Side - it was not swanky by any means. During that time, I always wondered what it would be like to live in Chinatown. This gave me that experience. I loved it! At this point in NY's history, this area is really close to a lot of interesting art galleries, boutiques, cafes, as well as the ever-popular eateries in China Town and Little Italy. This makes the area really safe to walk in at night.
It was great to have access to Ange's kitchen so I could make myself breakfast before heading out for the day. The apartment was really clean, cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. I had all the privacy I could want. Excellent stay!

  • It was our first experience with AirBNB and can totally recommend it. Ange is very reliable host, communicate promptly and is friendly and easy going person. Room was big and bed wonderfully comfortable. Do not expect any luxury, it is not a hotel. Flat is old and deserve some renovation but if you are used to hostel type of accommodation, you will be satisfied. Chinetown is good location to explore the city. Subway accesible within 10 min.

  • We had a great time in nyc.
The room is very large, you have enough space.
The location is fantastic for trips around the city.
Ange is a great hostess, very helpful and relaxed.
We would repeat the visit in any case.

  • We can definitely recommend Ange's place, it's very close to the main Manhattan attractions. This is very good starting point for sightseeing; underground is nearby, neighborhood is safe and you won't be scared coming back late in night.

  • Para algún viajero español puede resultar un poco incómodo el aspecto del barrio y del edificio.
Para Julia y para mí resultó una semana muy agradable, contando con el apoyo y asesoramiento de Ange, que, por cierto, habla muy bien español.
