This listing is will provide you with the insanely unique experience that combines the spa-like benefits of a dry sauna with the raucous fun of a pontoon boat. This sauna boat is a pied-a-mer that allows you to sip early morning coffee in the serene tranquility of the Adirondack Park, be king of your very own floating adventure down the Saranac River, or establish a meandering base for an afternoon or evening of relaxation, swimming and recreation.
The upper deck invites sunning, lounging and diving (if you know the depth of that spot on the lake). It easily navigates with a crew as large as 15, and the wood fired sauna, which comfortably seats six, heats up to over 200 degrees in 15 minutes.
The pontoons are rugged plastic and designed to freeze in the ice for winter use, so that the boat does not succumb to the whims of the biting winter winds. It cruises with a 25 HP outboard at 10 knots.
To truly understand the hot and cool plunge sensation and the social atmosphere fostered through the integration of fire and water, you have to experience this sauna boat for yourself!
NOTE: This boat is currently on Kiwassa Lake, near Saranac Lake, Lake Placid and Tupper Lake, NY, but it is possible to transport it to your favorite body of water for an additional fee.
Eric's house is the best place to know Boston. The location is perfect and the house is much better. Confortable, cozy...clearly the best place in the best borough of Boston.
Besides Eric is a perfect host. He gives you suggestions and very good advices.
Our honey moon was perfect due to Eric.
Don't doubts, choose Eric's house if you want to enjoy your stay in Boston!
We spent 6 nights in Eric's apartment, which is very pleasant, and spacious for a one-bedroom apartment. There is some traffic noise from Beacon St, but the apartment block itself is remarkably quiet. It is within easy walking distance of Newbury St with its shops and restaurants, the Hynes Convention Centre and Boston Common. Eric himself is agreeable and helpful.
Fantastic location. Walking distance to everywhere we needed to go. The apartment is a perfect place to stay, very stylish, clean, Eric is an excellent host
Eric was a very helpful and welcoming host, and his apartment is fantastic. Spacious, clean, and above all in a beautiful and very convenient location. I cannot recommend highly enough.
I had such an amazing time staying at the Newmans lake house this summer with my boyfriend and our two friends I don't even know where to begin writing this review. From the moment I booked the trip Eric was available to answer my questions quickly, thoughtfully, and informatively. When we arrived on Friday night we were greated by Erics father Mr. Newman who took time out of his Friday night to chart us over on a pontune boat with all of our luggage. Arriving to the island was breathtaking and felt as if it were something from a dream or painting. The cabin was clean, cozy, and smelled of summer and firewood. This was Just the type of atmosphere we were hoping for. The house was filled with pictures of past summers that the Newmans spent at the cabin. One of my favorite qualities of the house was the kitchen! It was open and bright and the light came in in such a way that would brighten our mornings as we sipped coffee and looked out over the mist on the river with the mountain scapes pearing at us from the back ground. We spent the full weekend on the island and never once had the slightest urge to leave to find more things to do. There were plenty of places to sit and relax around the island. The swimming hole with the sliding board was definitely a big highlight of the trip. Relaxing in the sauna was a nice way to dry off after swimming before playing a few rounds of croquet and grilling for dinner on the really nice modern grill. At night we played board games by a lit fire in the living room. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful and we now have memories that will last a life time. I will recommend Eric Newman to people in the future and confidently endorse him as a trustworthy and respectful AirBnB user.
During graduation week, I arranged for my parents to stay at Eric's place. He was kind enough to arrange a time to meet me the day before check-in to provide me with keys and info about the apartment. Throughout the stay, be also called to check in. Overall, we were very happy with our experience - great location and all needed amenities. The only slight complaint is noise from outside on weekend evenings. Thank you, Eric!
Handsome apartment in wonderful area of town. Eric is personable and responsive. Close to transportation, food, and shopping. Well-stocked kitchen if you want to stay in and cook. Building has coin-op washer/dryer, too. Like being home!
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Eric was helpful and communicative up to and during our stay. His apartment is tastefully furnished, very comfortable and in a superb location. What fun it was living like Bostonians in a lovely old brown stone building - even it was for only three nights. Back Bay is a fantastic area to stay in with so many great shops and restaurants. It is also easy to walk to other parts of the city and close to public transport. It was a nice place to unwind after our big days of exploring the city and my partner enjoyed the big screen TV and extremely comfy sofa. We were very pleased with this choice of accommodation and are sure that you will be too if you stay at Eric's!
We had a fabulous time in Boston. Eric was great to work with and his apartment was absolutely wonderful. It is so well located in the heart of Back Bay and within walking distance to so many sites, restaurants, coffee shops, and more. We felt at home away from home. We can't wait to stay there again!
