The Tiny B & B
The Tiny B&B is to be found on the ground floor of one of Kendal’s oldest, and most quirky, houses. This three hundred year old house is situated in Dr Manning’s Yard, famous for looking almost exactly the same as it did when it was built in 1700. One end of the yard brings you out onto Kendal’s main street and the other end is the River Kent and a short walk to Kendal Castle.
If you are looking for a cosy little en suite room moments away from all Kendal has to offer - you have come to the right place!
The tiny room has a very comfortable double bed, small chair and table, TV and DVD player, hairdryer, clock, en suite shower room and WC. There is second room where you can sit and eat.
A miniature fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster is provided as well as cutlery and crockery for breakfast.
Breakfast is a do-it-yourself affair. Tea and coffee, bread, butter, jam, yoghurt and a choice of cereal are provided.
If you do not feel like sampling Kendal’s restaurants then there are a number of takeaways within 5 minutes walk. Crockery is provided for your use.
Wireless broadband is also available for the duration of your stay.
The room has its own separate entrance so you can come and go as you please.

Very nice and friendly hosts and great place to stay. Good location in the heart of Kendal. A comfy little place with everything you need. A great base point to explore the Lake region. Thanks!
The Tiny B&B is in a perfect location in Kendal, it's cute, the bed is extremely comfortable and Louise is one of the greatest hosts we ever encountered. Really lovely and so cosy. Thank you!
We had a wonderful time staying with Lou in her Tiny B&B. We had everything we needed for a cosy weekend, including regular visits from the B&B cat (but don't worry if you are not a cat lover, Lou will keep her upstairs if you prefer). I would highly recommend this spot if you are looking to explore the lake district, or even if you just want a nice relaxing weekend in a lovely cosy setting.
Fantastic little place. Recommended highly :)
All you need commodities under a tiny roof! Will recommend this lovely B&B to all my friends. Thanks for the amazing cupcakes Lou!
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Tiny B&B. Central location in Kendal, near to shops and places to eat and a very warm welcome from Louise
I loved The Tiny B and B - it is just the kind of cosy nook that I want to curl up in after a tiring day. Lou welcomed me warmly then let me get on with it; perfect. And she makes tasty jam.
The Tiny B&B is tiny and lovely. I felt very at home there, Louise is a good host. Amazingly comfy bed, and I enjoyed the brief visits from the friendly cat, who sat with me and purred for five minutes then wandered off. Helped me feel very at home.
I did find it a bit hard to see the sign to the Yard in the dark, so if you arrive after nightfall allow a little time to find it (or make a panicky call to Louise as I did!).
Will definitly be back.
We really enjoyed our stay at 'The tiny bnb' It was so cosy and cute.
Louise is very kind and helpful host.
