The Tiny B & B
The Tiny B&B is to be found on the ground floor of one of Kendal’s oldest, and most quirky, houses. This three hundred year old house is situated in Dr Manning’s Yard, famous for looking almost exactly the same as it did when it was built in 1700. One end of the yard brings you out onto Kendal’s main street and the other end is the River Kent and a short walk to Kendal Castle.
If you are looking for a cosy little en suite room moments away from all Kendal has to offer - you have come to the right place!
The tiny room has a very comfortable double bed, small chair and table, TV and DVD player, hairdryer, clock, en suite shower room and WC. There is second room where you can sit and eat.
A miniature fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster is provided as well as cutlery and crockery for breakfast.
Breakfast is a do-it-yourself affair. Tea and coffee, bread, butter, jam, yoghurt and a choice of cereal are provided.
If you do not feel like sampling Kendal’s restaurants then there are a number of takeaways within 5 minutes walk. Crockery is provided for your use.
Wireless broadband is also available for the duration of your stay.
The room has its own separate entrance so you can come and go as you please.

Lovely quirky little place. Great location in Kendal with shops and restaurants nearby.
Thanks Lou, your Tiny B & B is a delight & the surrounding yard, buildings & streets of Kendall ooze character & history. Thanks for lovely brekkies amidst the quirky, colourful, arty touches of the Tiny B & B in the midst of the enchanting Lake District. Will happily recommend to fellow travellers. Gally & Mike McK
Such a cute house. It was like living in a dolls house. Warm and cosy. The neighbourhood is great, friendly people. Would stay again.
Great B&B with real personality and allowing complete independence.
I banged my head a lot but it added to the charm.
Lovely homemade jam to go with the breakfast options.
Would definitely stay there again.
The Tiny B&B is definitely tiny, but lovely. Everything we needed was there and there was some beautiful home-made jam. It's in a great location and was a good base for a couple of nights in Cumbria.
A lovely little BnB in a great location in Kendal. Louise was warm and friendly and her tips were spot on! It's small so best for v close friends or couples but we loved it.
Really enjoyed our stay! No problems finding the place and everything worked smoothly, Lou (email hidden).
Nice comfy bed after a long day walking around the lake district :)
Lovely apt in an authentic local house just beside the major shopping street in town. 15 min walk to the railway station or 10 min to the bus station where you could get to the Lake area. And everything is kept tidy and warm. If you love to experience the genuine style of Cumbria, you can't miss here.
Very nice and friendly hosts and great place to stay. Good location in the heart of Kendal. A comfy little place with everything you need. A great base point to explore the Lake region. Thanks!
The Tiny B&B is in a perfect location in Kendal, it's cute, the bed is extremely comfortable and Louise is one of the greatest hosts we ever encountered. Really lovely and so cosy. Thank you!
