About This Listing
The Tiny B & B
The Tiny B&B is to be found on the ground floor of one of Kendal’s oldest, and most quirky, houses. This three hundred year old house is situated in Dr Manning’s Yard, famous for looking almost exactly the same as it did when it was built in 1700. One end of the yard brings you out onto Kendal’s main street and the other end is the River Kent and a short walk to Kendal Castle.
If you are looking for a cosy little en suite room moments away from all Kendal has to offer - you have come to the right place!
The tiny room has a very comfortable double bed, small chair and table, TV and DVD player, hairdryer, clock, en suite shower room and WC. There is second room where you can sit and eat.
A miniature fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster is provided as well as cutlery and crockery for breakfast.
Breakfast is a do-it-yourself affair. Tea and coffee, bread, butter, jam, yoghurt and a choice of cereal are provided.
If you do not feel like sampling Kendal’s restaurants then there are a number of takeaways within 5 minutes walk. Crockery is provided for your use.
Wireless broadband is also available for the duration of your stay.
The room has its own separate entrance so you can come and go as you please.
Check in is after 6pm unless we make a prior arrangement and check out is 10am. Arrive, get cosy and enjoy yourself!
I am afraid I no longer accept one person for one night. You are welcome to book for two nights or more or, alternatively, you can pay the price for double occupancy for one night. I am really sorry if this is an inconvenience.
Lovely accommodation in the ground floor of an old house. Full of charm and character. Everything you need is there, and you're right in the centre of Kendal.
Louise is a terrific host - everything you need is there and she's easily contactable if you need her.
Terrific few days there. Highly recommended.
The Tiny Bed and Breakfast is just as described. Tiny and Cozy, a very unique experience. Louise was there to make sure all went well, recommended a fun place to go for dinner, and was a wonderful hostess. The whole town is charming and beautiful. This was a very important stop in my journey and I could not have asked for more. Thanks so much Lou for everything, I had a wonderful time.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at Louise's small bed and breakfast. The accommodation was quaint and clean and had a lot of charm. The small breakfast provided was lovely and the same was delicious and the homemade jams were fantastic. Louise was very accommodating and allowed us to drop our stuff off at the flat early which was an enormous help. I would highly recommend anyone stay at her lovely flat.
Absolutely lovely little place in a fantastic location. Highly recommend . Would love to go again.
Louise was a friendly and accommodating host, and the space (though indeed tiny) was extremely comfortable and homey. I enjoyed my stay very much, and I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!
This is a simply delightful little place. You are able to come and go as you please as you have your own entrance. It is tiny but oh so cute. It's like having your own mini apartment! You simply help yourself to breakfast, or take your own if you want, there's a mini fridge. We didn't get to meet our host as we arrived quite late but it was beautifully presented and a delight to stay and she replied to my messages very quickly. Parking is ata nearby car park which is free until 8am, but you can pay the night before so you don't need to get up early to put coins in the machine.
