She is a very nice and helpful host. The only problem we have had, is the electricity did it work out. But she drove back immediately after I texted her and fixed it mid night.
The stay was excellent. I did not get a chance to meet Shari face to face but she was available by phone and very friendly. The space had everything I needed and the location was great.
Shari was very pleasant to work with. She communicated well in advance of our stay and made sure that we had what we needed. Her instructions for renters was clear.
We originally booked Shari's apartment for 5 nights from the 18th of July. After one night, we decided it wasnt suitable for us and our toddler daughter so contacted Shari to cancel the remaining nights and booked a hotel. Shari was at all times responsive to our messages and accomodating. I should however share the reasons for our early departure.
1: We arrived on an extremely hot and humid Cleveland day and found the apartment to be very stuffy and hot despite the air conditioning units and fans running on maximum. For summer heat they really weren't efficient enough and we couldn't sleep.
2: We found the apartment to be very rundown and although it had been cleaned, it still felt grubby. The toilet moved a lot.
3: We felt there were a lot of safety hazards for our toddler such as hanging plug sockets and many loose cables and wires so we really had to watch her every second.
All in all, the place was not suited to us and would probably best suit a group of travellers looking for budget accomodation in a decent area.
We enjoyed our stay at Shari's place in Shaker Heights . The place was as described and it accommodated our group of 10 for the 4th of july trip to the nearby Cuyahoga national park. The only constraint was the single bath for all of us. Shari was very friendly and offered up the necessary bedding to make us comfortable. She also came down from across town when we were accidentally locked out once. I would definitely recommend the place.
My fiancée checked in at 5pm. She left directions and a key for us to enter the apartment. The apartment fit it's description and was true to the pictures. Neighborhood was centrally located by multiple shops, groceries, and banks.
Nice experience.. Very private.. I did not meet the host face to face but the apartment was nice and clean.
