About this listing
Right off the Sequoia/198 hwy, nestled in 3.5 acres (great privacy & beautiful views), close to Kaweah river, entrance to Sequoia Ntl & Kings Ntl Parks. We offer all the amenities of a home - including fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms.
Guests have access to the entire home. There is a queen sized bed in the master bedroom downstairs, with it's own bathroom (there are fresh towels in the bathroom cabinets/closet). In general, guests should feel free to open up all the cabinets/drawers/closets in the house - it's all for you to use. Because it's our vacation home, we don't leave any personal items behind. We have two rooms upstairs - one has a full sized bed (can fit 2 people) and the other has two twin sized beds (as shown in the pics).
In the kitchen, feel free to use whatever you'd like - in the cabinets, drawers and fridge you'll find plates/cups, spices, coffee/tea, free-ranged organic eggs, cereal, oatmeal, flour, rice, syrups, pasta, etc. Whatever is in the fridge, we encourage guests to indulge.
Feel free to open up all the cabinets/drawers and make yourself at home! Please do not hesitate to use anything.
A variety of boardgames are available in the game nook upstairs and a ping pong table in the garage.
The carport can hold two cars - one behind the other.
Interaction with guests
This is our vacation home, so we will not be physically present but are available via phone or online. We email guests access information and detailed driving directions. We do our best to accommodate and answer promptly.
We are located 0.2 miles from the main Sierra Dr/198 Highway. We are just 2 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park and 30 miles from Giant Forest and General Sherman tree. Access to the river (Boulder Beach/"Slick Rock Recreation Area") is a short 5 mile drive. A shuttle stop for the park and Visalia is within 2 miles. Sequoia Site Seeing Tours will make arrangements to pick you up if you wish to see the park with a guide.
