Giacomo's apartment is very comfortable, amazingly well located, and he is a terrific host. It is a short walk away from Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese, and the Spanish steps. The terrace is lovely for coffee in the morning and I found the building to be very safe. Giacomo is wonderful too- he not only pointed out different restaurants he recommended on a map, but we had lunch and coffee together right after I arrived and he also walked me over to a super market later on where I could pick up a few items for my stay. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. The location was fantastic & we really enjoyed the Puazza del Poppolo just up the street, as well as the Borghese fare dens when you wanted to have some green open space. Walking distance to all the sights. The air conditioning was teriffic, the bed was comfortable and the courtyard was a bonus. Nice and quiet too. Sure, the odour at the entrance hall is off putting but vanishes as you go upstairs to the apartment. Giacomo was a good host and told us all we needed to know, the bottle Prosecvo was appreciated. Thanks Giacomo.

As advertised. We loved the terrace. Location is convenient to shops, sightseeing and public transportation. Great value. The shower is very small.

Via Laurina apartment is absolutely fantastic. In case I come back to Rome again, it would be my first choice. It is located in the best area of the Rome. The apartment and the terrace is lovely and clean-cut. Although it is located in one of the most happening areas of the Rome, the bedroom is amazingly quiet and far from all the outside noise. I am a super detail oriented person, and totally recommend this apartment.

This apartment is absolutely the best location in the center. But it is on a quiet street, amazingly. So you get the best of both worlds. You can walk to anything in the old city within 10-30 minutes, and it is a great sightseeing walk no matter where you head. The apartment is plenty large size for even 2 couples since it has a fold out couch in addition to the bed. Bed is very comfy! TVs work well. Kitchen works well and has everything you would need. I am just thoroughly impressed with this apartment and I will book again next visit. The terrace is huge, and gets perfect sun. It also has doors out to the terrace from the bedroom and living room. You could sit out on the terrace and never hear a thing, it's that quiet. Lastly, it's very secure. Huge deadbolt lock as well as small self locking lock. Also a locked entrance to the building. Never saw or heard neighbors, and there are only a few other units in the building.

This was the second time for me to live in Giacomo's apartment. Everything is perfect indeed. The location is in the very center of Rome, but very calm. This winter is little colder, but the airconditioner and the heater make a warm home, and Giacomo is always kind to offer the helps and suggestion. Thanks for all.

Giacomo is a very welcoming host. He greeted us with cakes and Prosecco and gave us a map of Rome, making suggestions of things to see and places to eat. However, the apartment has a damp issue which Giacomo has denied. As soon as I entered the apartment, my tongue and lips reacted and my husband also had a mild physical reaction. My husband said to Giacomo when we first arrived, that the apartment is damp and Giacomo replied no. However, he suggested turning on the air conditioners to the dry setting which we did but it didn't help. The next day when the problem was obviously not going away, he also offered us a portable heater and to ask the building manager to turn on the building's central heating. Unfortunately, as I am an asthmatic, for the sake of my health as I was already sick from the damp, I couldn't wait a number of days to see if this worked, so we sadly had to leave and find alternate accommodation. Giacomo tried to relet the apartment but wasn't successful and we did not receive a refund from him. It was a very expensive 2 weeks in Rome.
