About this listing

We recently restored this lovely loft to give it a modern touch and total comfort. The space is luminous and dynamic, in the middle of Campo de Fiori one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods of Rome!

The space

This enchanting loft is a large open space located in the heart of ancient Rome and comes with private parking space and an independent entrance. Hidden in the courtyard of a historical building, this home enjoys the calm of the hidden away space while having the vibrant city centre on its doorstep. The modern art and design furniture make it an ideal contrast to the antique foundations it rests upon and that surround it on Campo de Fiori, or to the renaissance wonders on Piazza Navona, both a short stroll away.

Both bedrooms have queen size beds, one of which is located in the alcove above the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for letting culinary appassionados experiment with the fresh local produce form the daily market on Campo de Fiori. The bathroom was recently renovated along with the rest of the apartment and is fully equipped with toiletries and towels for each guest.

The neighbourhood is filled with restaurants and bars (we recommend seeking out ones just around the corner of the main Piazza’s and streets; we will give you more detailed recommendations once you arrive of course.)

Guest access

The apartment will be entirely at your disposal, including all the amenities present. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and oven as well as a washing machine.

Interaction with guests

We will meet you, or have someone come meet you on our behalf, to hand over the keys and show you the facilities. We will be available for any questions you might have before or during your stay to make sure your stay will be as comfortable as possible. Just send us a line and we will take care of the rest!

The hosts were amazingly communicative and very accommodating to our late request for a late check out. the apartment was a little hard to find but no biggie. they organised a car to meet us at the airport that wasn't much more than the standard fare in from the airport - I would suggest taking this option every time. The location was fabulous - quiet but very close to the bars and restaurants. And very close to all the main sites. Could ask for more and when I return I will use this place as my base again.

Best possible location being a lane away from a fresh fruit and variety market in Campo di Fiori which is listed as one of the top 5 markets in Rome together with a selection of reasonably priced restaurants. The apartment had everything and the hoats were fantastic, always willing to help. The apartment is slightly musty but what you would expect from an older style Rome building.

Emiliano and Maria are super accommodating and helpful hosts. I would definitely stay in one of their apartments the next time I travel to Rome. However, I would not stay in this particular flat. The location is amazing, and the flat has many great things going for it, like an outdoor patio and eclectic mix of modern and old architecture. However, the apartment was also quite dirty, damp, musty, and showed evidence of mold in the bathroom walls. My wife and son are quite sensitive to mold and the apartment set off my son's allergies. Emiliano and Maria were super accommodating and helped us move to another of their apartments on Via Giulia. The difference was night and day, and made our time to Rome great. Again, I would 110% stay in an apartment that Emiliano and Maria represent, but I just wouldn't stay in the particular flat.

Emiliano is a very special host. He was let down at the very last minute by one of the landlords so the property we had booked fell through just hours before we arrived. He leapt to the rescue and by the end of the evening he had found somewhere more than suitable for us to stay. He is a great communicator and has a very big and generous heart.

As others have said Emiliano was responsive, friendly and accommodating, the apartment was great with the outside terrace a wonderful way to start the morning with a cup of coffee or end the night over a glass of wine, and the location can not be beat! The place is best for a small family or two to three friends.

The apartment was in the middle of Rome's historic city - we could walk everywhere. The equipment and furniture is nice and Emiliano was very helpful. Thanks again for the nice day's in Rome!

Like everyone else has already said, you just can't beat the location of Emiliano's flat! We walked everywhere as it's close to just about everything. The layout is as pictured and is perfect for a family of 3 or 4. The private courtyard was a big plus that we were not expecting. Emiliano is wonderful! He had a snack waiting for us on arrival and was a great communicator throughout the booking process.

WonderWhereToStay: tight knit team based in Rome who have made it our mission to provide our guests with the most charming, unique and cosy homes in Rome.

We are constantly looking for new ways of providing our services and sharing our love for Rome, the most recent of which is Wonder Where To Stay.

To us hosting is a way of letting the world come a little bit closer to Rome and vice versa, because living a city and experiencing its ways also means bringing something of your own into the colourful mix.

We live and love in Rome and know its every nook and cranny; inside knowledge we will gladly share once you arrive, to make sure you don't miss a single bit of all the wonders. Many of our recommendations will be regarding the food, which is (obviously) essential. We take this basic necessity very seriously and consider it one of the best ways to get to know a culture and its ways.

We are always available for any requests regarding Rome, individual interests and wishes, our apartments or something different entirely; we will do everything we can to make our guests wishes come true.

Naturally we don't live confined in an oil lamp, but enjoy a lovely home like anyone else, which is why we put great effort in making sure our apartments are always in tip top shape, the way we would expect them to be for ourselves and our family and friends.
