Staying with Trish was very easy and comfortable, like spending time with a friend of a friend. And even tho the old house is not air conditioned it stayed relatively manageable given the high temps we had. Thought the shared bath might be uncomfortable but it was pretty much a non issue. WC is at the back of the house tho which is a little trek in the dark at night so have a torch with you.
House is well located and a short walk to a beautiful swimming beach or to town for groceries or a restaurant.
Trish is an amazing host, a lovely person and her house is extremely comfortable, warm and welcoming. I was working nearby in Warrnambool for the week and couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thanks Trish! :)
It was such a pleasure staying with Trish. Her house is charming, cosy and vibrant and she made me feel instantly at home, I was even invited to use some of her veggies and herbs from her garden for my cooking. I stayed in the blue room and found the bed very comfortable. A lovely place to stay for those heading towards the Port Fairy surrounds.
What a great place to stay, within a few minutes walk you can be in the centre of Port Fairy or the fabulous beach. A successful BnB should be like visiting an old friend in the country - and the host Trish has nailed it. She was helpful with tips on local sights and where to eat, and is friendly and generous. The circa 1880's house is a treasure from a bygone era, a great way to enjoy staying in a historic town like Port. We will be visiting again!
Lovely stay at Trish's home. Such a gorgeous space to unwind in. Trish is a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. We spent hours on the built-in trampoline making daisy chains in the sun! The location of the house is perfect, so close to everything you could need and no traffic noise. Thanks Trish :)
Trish was such a great host that we felt like we were visiting family. We stayed in the double room. The amenities were very comfortable for those like us, who don't mind a shared bathroom. It was a short walk to the café and restaurant strip. We took our bikes and were within a minute of the Port Fairy - Warrnambool rail trail. Trish even provided safe and dry storage for our bikes and a hot bath at the end of the ride. We highly recommend Trish's place.
Trish is a wonderful and relaxed host. We feel privileged to have met her. Her house is beautiful and clean. We highly recommend to stay with her. We loved the great conversations, her inspiring thoughts and enjoyed that she shared many great things with us ie fruits and salad from her garden and in depth local knowledge. In a nutshell: Trish makes you feel come back the next week.
Trish was a great host and fun to talk to. She even gave us fruits from her lovely garden for our onward journey! Her house is very cosy and comfortable. We liked especially the lounge room. Cafes (fast wifi at Rock Salt Cafe) and restaurants are just down the street. Great place to stay if you drive the Great Ocean Road!
Trish was a gracious host. She provided us with lots of helpful tips on our short stay and even let us pick some fresh veggies from her garden. The location can't be beat, so close to the main strip! We would stay again if we had the chance.

Love the variety of living alone one day and with friends the next. Enjoy sharing my beautiful town with others. I'm passionate about the environment, ocean swimming, educating girls, Africa, food, and yoga. When I travel I travel light and prefer to stay with locals.
