Dragon Pyramid Homestay is a unique place. Based on sacred geometry the centre building is a 2 story pyramid surrounded by a circular swimming pool. The apex of the pyramid has stained glass windows with images from ancient egypt.

There are five rooms we share with visitors.
Dragon Pyramid - Mango View (double)
Dragon Pyramid -The Pyramid (double)
Dragon Pyramid -Pura View ( 3/4 bed)
Dragon Pyramid -Pool Side (double)
Dragon Pyramid -Frangipani Room (single)

Our location in Kerobokan gives easy access to the tourist areas of Seminyak (15 minutes), Canggu (15 minutes), Denpasar (15 minutes), Ubud (45 minutes) and Sanur (30 minutes) by car/motorbike. So an ideal home base to explore in all directions. Local public transport is non existent so we can help you organise taxi's , motorbikes and car hire with or without a driver for all your transport needs.

It is in a Balinese area with many great small local restaurants nearby. Right next door is a great restaurant which makes delicious BBQ chicken or fish, fried rice and fried noodles all Bali style of course

I would like to share my unique home and knowledge of local balinese culture and attractions with open hearted souls looking for an alternative to the usual tourist experience.

Dragon Pyramid Homestay is the birthplace of Crazy Wanders Foundation Bali. This foundation began with group change makers met in Bali and began a dream of creating a centre for Asian culture and learning, the idea is to support social welfare programmes. So we provide lessons on Yoga and Dhyan (Meditation), balinese dance, cooking, massage and much much more.

  • Although I was only able to spend a short time at Sally's place, I enjoyed the house and her company greatly. Sally is warm and helpful. Boi (forgive the spelling) also brought us out for a late night snack within walking distance from the house. Delicious and affordable food!

The house is beautifully furnished and true to photos provided. I love the bathroom upstairs. The common areas are open and relaxing to lounge around at. Drinking water is readily available. While there, I was also fortunate to come across Sally's adorable puppies. Her dogs are very friendly.

Sally helped to arrange for drivers when we had to head off. I appreciate that. I thank Sally again for her hospitality :)

  • The house is just amazing! I only stayed 2 night here, but felt very welcomed. Sally is great and helpful with transport, travel tips etc. Defently a recommended spot, even though it requires a taxi or some other transport to visit Tanah Lot, Seminyak or any beach. Truly friendly atmosphere and a very helpful host! Thank you Sally for making my arrival into Bali smooth and easy!

  • Sally's place is amazing, the house is really cool with a nice community area. Even though I arrived alone, everyone I met there invited me and we did allot of cool stuff, while I still had my privacy in my own room. Interesting beautiful people, clean bathroom, lovely lady taking care of the house, Sally offers everybody allot of help when needed. Best way to start your trip in Bali!

  • Tough to put into words the magic and open heartedness I experienced at Dragon Pyramid.

Sally was quick to reply in response to all of my questions and concerns early on in communication to book my trip. Upon arrival, she welcomed me into her home with ease and laughter. My room was cool and breezy, with mangoes growing outside and frangipanis reaching in to greet me in the morning. The room was minimal, but all I needed to rest my head at the end of the day. Yes there are bugs, and yes the local dogs bark at night… its Bali :) The WiFi is free! and fast. I hired a scooter from Sally at a moment's notice to explore the island, and comfortably ate at the nearby restaurant in the evening. All round - a great experience.

I recommend staying at the Pyramid if you're looking for an authentic Balinese experience with a bit of the unexpected.

  • Staying at Sally's... For me it was all together a unique experience. She'll give you the feeling of a second home. Couldn't think of a better place to stay at in Bali then her Dragon's Pyramid. She knows hospitality. She also knows good food, good places to wander of for an adventure of your own, and offers a chance to learn more about true Balinese culture. Where else would I've been going to for a couple of more days when I extended my plane ticket. Hope to come back to Bali, no doubt in my mind I would ask her to be my host again.
Little suggestion; ask her if she'll play you the blues on her guitar. Loved listening.

Hello my new Friends!! Sally is Australian and first came to Bali with Australian Volunteer International working as a midwife consultant/capacity builder helping to establish a Birth Centre for the Poor of Bali in Denpasar. She then fell in love Boi and with Bali and now lives here. Sally still provides consultancy for the Birth Centre and donates 10% of the homestay income to supporting the women, babies and families who use the clinic. i have now opened my home to guests and I am having so much fun sharing life and Balinese culture with my homestay family. My life is not perfect but it is full of love and humanity. “Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.” Mother Teresa
