We are a non-smoking B&B.
Alles war bestens organisiert und vorbereitet; das Zimmer wie beschrieben und fotografiert; vielleicht etwas dunkler. Die Lage in der Stadt fantastisch, alles zu Fuß zu erreichen.
The apartment was just as described online and was just what we needed. Bastiaan was a good host and helped us get acquainted to the area and the apartment. We especially enjoyed the morning bread, cheese, orange juice and milk. The apartment is in the back of the building, so it is also nice and quiet for a great night's sleep on a wonderfully comfortable bed. As a tourist, the location of the apartment was also excellent. Only a couple blocks from the Anne Frank house, which puts it within walking distance of many other things.
Host is very kind and sincere. The apartment located super convenient district, the room is very clean and tidy, host have good taste for room decoration.
The listing description was accurate and the location was fantastic - great for discovering the surrounding neighbourhoods, and close to a number of good places to eat and drink. The apartment itself was just what we needed for a few nights stay, with a good size bathroom and a small kitchenette which was perfect for breakfast. It was a very cosy and comfortable stay, and we feel very lucky with our choice!
Beautiful stylish studio. Smaller than it appears on the photos. Unfortunately no street view, impractical sink and water leaking fridge.
The welcome by Bastiaan was very unpleasant. Due to some problems with mail and thus a misunderstanding about the time we arrived, he got very irritated. He had no sympathy for the fact that we booked for the first time through airbnb.
This response was written by the parents of Marloes under her account.
Really good location on the Western canal, just a short walk to Dam square. Room was very nice with breakfast provided. Would definitely stay here again, only downside was that the wifi was a bit patchy.
My husband and I stayed at the B&B for a weekend and had a lovely time. Bastiaan waited for us until late on arrival as our flight was 2 hrs delayed due to bad weather. He was very welcoming and gave us all the necessary information.
The studio is extremely well located to explore the centre of Amsterdam by foot, 30min away from the museums, less than 10min from the nine little streets, Dam square and many interesting sights.
The studio itself is very cosy and quiet. Fresh bread was provided in the morning which was nice. I would definitely recommend the place for a weekend in Amsterdam.
We are a couple with three children. We are working in the field of art, architecture and politics. We are looking forward to receive people from everywhere!
