The living quarters are set up studio style with the living area, sleeping area, dining area, and kitchenette in one large room. Guests are pleasantly surprised to find it incredibly spacious and perfect for their group get-togethers!

The Schoolhouse is located a 1/2 mile off of Hwy 27. on the paved S. Maumee Rd, next to our other guest rental, Grandma's House. The Buffalo River is located just 5 miles past the Schoolhouse. The Schoolhouse is only 5 miles from the town of Marshall where you'll be able to get groceries, gas, and any other essentials you may need. If you're planning to float the river, Crockett's Canoe Rental provides shuttle service and they will transport your group to and from the Schoolhouse! There are several small towns in close proximity that visitors love to explore such as; Marshall, Leslie, St. Joe, Gilbert, and Witt Springs!

Enjoy the beautiful Ozarks from this home in the community of Morning Star – just outside Marshall, AR. Drink coffee on the deck while bird watching or taking in nature. Settle in & relish a peaceful break from the busyness of life with a book by the fireplace. Relax outside, under the pergola, while listening to the tranquil sound of the water fountain. A beautiful 4 mile drive down the road takes you to the Buffalo National River. Some guest call it a House of Prayer. Others call it a Holiday house. We call it Grandma's. It is more then just a place to stay. It is an experience. It takes a family to make a house a home. Parties and events are not allowed and no more then 16 guests.
