Our stay at the Appartment was great. Everything run smoothly, Andrea was helpful and did everything to make us comfortable.
Check in and out was easy and he let us leave our bags at the flat as we were leaving later in the afternoon.
The flat is just as advertised, everything functions well. Close to great restaurants and bars. Still a quiet street and had no trouble sleeping at night.great value would definitely stay again!
We've stayed at this apartment for 4 nights and it was okay. The place looks just like on the pictures. It was quite hard for us to find it, cause the street is very small and people we asked, couldn't tell us where to go, so we've spent 2 hours just searching for it (I guess it was our fault as we could be prepared better or call the host at once instead of trying to find it ourselves). The apartment is okay, but for me personally it wasn't that cozy. The host came, we paid money and he left. There was no breakfast or coffee, or tea or anything you expect when booking at airbnb. One more problem was a hairdryer - it was in the apartment, but we couldn't plug it, so we were ought to buy an adapter. In the evening when we were making our beds the neighbor knocked on the door and shouted at us that we were having a party and making terrible noises (which wasn't true at all), so I guess the house is old and you can't make any noises in the evening to keep neighbors happy. The neighborhood is nice, lot's of shops and cafes around, but I wish the host could guide us a bit more. Anyway, the price is good and if you are looking for a place to sleep at night - it's okay, but I wouldn't peek it for vacations or romantic trip. We paid 50 euros for check out and the host took us to Bergamo airport early in the morning - we appreciated it a lot! Thank you!
Everything was perfect, Andrea was very nice and polite, and gave me all the useful advice i needed.
The house was very nice also.
Andrea was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and in a great location near the canals.
The place was quite nice, more spacious than expected, and the neighborhood was absolutely perfect. Andrea was there to meet my friend who came a day earlier than I did and gave he us some good tips about where to eat and where to find the best gelato in the city (Cafe della Musica).
I feel that he should have forewarned us though, about scaffolding enveloping the entire building and workmen who started their daily shifts at or before 8am, which meant not only a lot of noise, but actual people working on or walking by your windows. The weather was already quite warm but we couldn't really keep the windows and/or the shutters open, which made the place feel stuffy and slightly claustrophobic, not to mention dark. Despite having to keep the windows closed for the most part, the place was filled with dust within days just from the work. It would have been much better to know about this situation in advance so we could have found another place for our stay, or if that wasn't possible, perhaps get a discount on the not inconsiderable daily charge. I'm sure this situation is temporary, but it was our bad luck to have to encounter it. The beds were not the most comfortable either, but they sufficed.
Andrea was slow to reply when I was trying to arrange check out and didn't show up at the appointed time, so I had to just leave the key in order not to miss my flight.
All in all, not a perfect experience, but not a total disaster either. Given better circumstances (no building works), I'm sure it would have been more than ok.
