The Space

Your hosts pride themselves in offering bespoke guidance to ensure a memorable visit to London and their home.

We offer a spacious, modern and quiet room with a very comfortable double bed, wardrobe and writing desk. There’s a window seat overlooking the Regent’s canal in the room.

Be lulled asleep by the sound of water falling over Johnson lock and wake up to homemade jam and crumpets.

You’ll have access to your own private bathroom furnished with a bath/shower and use of the living area, balcony and the kitchen area.

Towels, basic toiletries, bed linen, hair straightener and hair dryer are provided. Internet wireless connection is available and free. There's even a Luggage Scale to make sure you're not over the limit after your shopping sprees.

It has stunning views of London’s Canary Wharf district and only one mile from London's City centre.

There's parking available for a small extra charge.

We're located in Zone 2, and a ten-minute walk from Mile End Underground Station, alongside the delightful Mile End Park. This station is serviced by three different tube lines; a 15-minute ride to the city centre and a 5-minute ride to Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford.

Amenities nearby include breakfast Cafes, take away/delivery shops, supermarkets & restaurants, all within a ten-minute walk radius.

'Self-service' breakfast is with cereal, eggs, crumpets, fresh bread or toast, jam/marmalade, juices and coffee/tea (please let us know your preferences).

Smoking is allowed ONLY on the balcony.

Interaction with Guests

This is a friendly household and it is our wish that you feel at home when you stay with us. We will leave you to do your own thing but also we are happy to give any directions/info you may need to ensure your stay is perfect.

The Neighborhood

We live in a new development on the first floor with open plan living space, two bedrooms (one will be yours), two bathrooms (one will be yours), a fully fitted kitchen to which you’ll have total access and a balcony overlooking the canal. We have a privileged view of Canary Wharf, the Regent’s canal and that of the communal gardens. We’re located in Stepney, a multicultural part of London that has seen a lot of regeneration thanks to its proximity to the Olympic site.

Getting Around

We are a three-minute walk away from Mile End Park and a 10-minute walk from the nearest Tube station, offering great transport links on the Central, Hammersmith & City and the District lines.

There are also good 24-hour transport connections to central London, with the #25 and the # 205 buses taking you there in about thirty minutes through fascinating neighbourhoods.

You could also explore the wide network of canals by walking or cycling to see a different side of London. To roam along East London’s historic canal network is to unlock a tranquil world only yards from the bustle of this fantastic city.

Other Things to Note

Some attractions within close reach are: Shoreditch, Brick Lane (London's best Asian food district also renowned for its bars and nightclubs), Canary Wharf, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, River Thames cruises, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Jack the Ripper tours, the HMS Belfast, Monument, London Dungeon, Bank of England Museum, Southwark Cathedral, Barbican, St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern Museum, Globe Theatre, Southbank, London Aquarium and the London Eye.
