The house in general was good, a living room described as in the pictures but a small and a little disorganized kitchen. The main room was nice and with enough space but the small room was not really comfortable, very small with two small beds that you could open. There are not pictures in the advertisement with the two beds room, it appears with a light brown sofa. We had to use the sofa in the living room that could open into a bed what wasn't really comfortable.. Norman left us 4 smart cards to use with the public transport what is very kind. The buses that go the main attractions are 15 min walking from the house, there is a Safeway 15-20 min walking from the house which was really convenient. The communication with Norman was fantastic, always ready to answer any questions before and during our stay. We had a good experience overall!
We didn't see Norman in person, but were amazed by a table full of travel guides on it, and the SmartTrip cards thoughtfully provided. The house is pretty nice and quite spacious for two people. The transportation is convenient, though waiting for the bus in the night could be a little more uncomfortable than waiting for metro. In general we had a great time and got to explore a lot in the capital.
The house was functional, the master bed was very comfy. Which was very important to me since I had drove 15 hours straight through the night. I did not like D.C. however, but that wasnt Normans fault. The house was about the only positive I had about the entire trip. If I HAVE to travel to D.C. again I will likely reuse Norman.
The highlight of this place is Norman. He is one of the most helpful hosts I've ever known. If you need him for any reason, he will be there in 15 minutes. His house is filled with entertainment. The bed was very comfortable. Overall, this was a pleasant visit to DC, and Norman was a part of it.
Norman was a welcoming and helpful host. When we got locked out, because the lock had frozen, he qiuckly came to our resumé. His townhouse suited us nice and was as described. The ned in the master bedroom was really comfortable.
We felt very welcome here! We arrived on a chilly evening and the house was warm and ready to welcome us. Norman left us tour guides for the city, a welcome basket and metro cards. Norman was available for any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!
We have stayed with our newborn child almost one month at Norman's house. The house was well equipped and had a very good heating system to keep us and our child warm in the freezing January. In addition, we could park our car on the premises. Norman was a brilliant host. Besides showing us around, he supported us in every way to get along as new parents in Washington. The house is located conviently close to shopping facilities and public transport. All in all we are really happy to have choosen Norman's house and do highly recommend both, the house and its host!!!
