Staying at Norman's place made traveling in DC easy! His home is about a 10 minute drive from downtown D.C. and all of the monuments, and is about 100m away from a bus stop. The place had easy parking, was clean, and its shower had great water pressure. Norman also helped us plan parts of our trip, including traveling to the Wizard's stadium. When you stay at Norman's, it truly feels like you live in DC.
.NORMAN could not have been more helpful during our memorable week in DC. When we arrived he had a well stocked refrigerator with breakfast choices and beverages. He made our visit immensely simpler by having a variety of maps ,local info, and restaurant recommendations
The real lifesaver was a map of metro and the cards needed to use the system. He answered all of our questions and was patient with 2 nervous, tourists on overload!!
T he house was homey and located in a very quiet neighborhood. Norman had already provided the few items that we asked for before we arrived. We were one block from transportation which again made our experience easier. You can't go wrong when you check out this lovely, private, comfortable home. Peggy Olson
We had a wonderful stay in Norman ' s home. It was very comfortable for our family. My kids loved having games to play when we were exhausted from the day. The kitchen was nice for breakfast and made mornings super easy. The coffee pot did not work, but that really is my only complaint. It made our normally stressful vacation time a lot less stressful having space for all of us to relax.
Norman was a great host, he provided us with a lot of local information, kept in touch with us at all times. He was easily accessible, cordial, a very gracious and attentive host.
The house had everything we needed and it was in close proximity to the attractions area; we had a car, so we drove into the city each day, and we did not take public transportation.
We want to thanks norman. We had great time. He met us when we arrived and explain everything we need. Show us the bus station and gave us cards for buses and train. Its very easy to arivve to all attractions. The house is clean and have inside all we need.
