This is the second time I visit Yerevan. And for the second time I stay at Catherine's place. Why? Here are my reasons:
1) Location is fabulous. Next to the famous and glorious Cascade. Literally, next to it.
2) Wonderful apartment. 2-bedroom. Cozy. Everything works. Warm and home-like.
3) Great host. She jumps out of herself to help you feel welcome in the capital of Armenia. She would make useful and smart suggestions regarding your stay.
I've used Airbnb rentals a lot. This is thumbs down the best place I've ever stayed.
Highly recommended. I'll continue staying at Catherine's place each time I visit Yerevan. Thanks, Cathy!!!
The listing description was very accurate. I was met by the housekeeper's husband with a key. Despite not knowing Russian, I found that he was very welcoming and kind. He was accommodating despite us being over 3 hours behind schedule.
I can't say enough about how wonderful Catherine was to work with and how perfect the apartment was for our family and our visit to Armenia. The apartment was exactly what I was expecting, which means the listing here is completely accurate. Everything we needed was there including a good internet connection. Each night we enjoyed the cafés at Cascade which are only steps away from the building and during the day we enjoyed walking to various sites around the center of Yerevan. When we needed a taxi we could always find them standing near Cascade. I highly recommend this place!
Yerevan is a great city and the location of the apartment is right on.
Apartment is like the pictures in description.
Thank you Catherine
Great location right next to Kaskad. Apartment was exactly was described. Catherine was extremely organized and quick to respond to all emails with very descriptive and detailed answers. Would definitely stay there again!
Catherine was terrific. She doesn't actually live in Armenia, but she was probably the easiest host to get a hold of that I've ever dealt with on airbnb leading up to and during the stay.
This was my first time in Yerevan, so I didn't really know the layout of the city. Turns out Catherine's place is in an outstanding part of town with restaurants, cafes, and the spectacular Cascade monument right next door.
Coordinating with her housekeeper to get the keys and check out was a snap. And perhaps the biggest bonus given the fact that Yerevan is literally 100 degrees in August? The place had terrific AC.
We absolutely loved Yerevan, and is highly recommend Catherine's place. Not to mention that she's incredibly friendly and helpful.
The apartment is in excellent neighbourhood/location in the direct center of Yerevan. It is within very close walking distance to the obvious sights. Catherine´s communication was excellent, always approachable providing excellent info as well as giving great directions, highly reliable. The apartment is very clean. All one needs for a stay is there. A great plus: directly opposite the apartment is a small convenient store (opening times 9-22) where one can buy all necessary stuff one needs for breakfast or for daily trips. Also there are plenty cafes and restaurants available in the immediate vicinity. I can very much recommend staying in this apartment!
