Warm hospitality and a comfortable room with a private bath were provided. Our room was quiet, private and had a large television. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. We loved the location: we were five minutes from downtown Charleston. Getting into and back from the city was easy by car. Our host was pleasant and served us a delicious, hot breakfast every morning. We highly recommend this host.
Debbie was so sweet & flexible to let us check in late after a long day of fun in Charleston. Her home is convenient to Charleston, and her directions make it easy to find. The neighborhood is nice and the room is beautiful. We slept late because it was so comfortable. She makes breakfast from 8-9:15, or if you sleep late like us, she leaves out a continental breakfast with yummy selections to start your day. I would highly recommend the room & would definitely stay there again! Thank you!
Nice Southern home. It was very convenient getting to the downtown area only a 7-10min drive. The innkeepers were friendly and very accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a small problem getting in the front door at night. But our hosts were very apologetic and displayed excellent customer service. My husband and I enjoyed the delicious breakfast that the inn provided. We left feeling refreshed and satisfied. I would stay here again and recommend it for quick getaway. You won't be sorry if you stay here :)
On our way down to the south, we had our first Airbnb experience in the USA near Charleston at Debbie's cozy home. It was great. We felt warmly welcome, the room was nice and we got the best pancakes ever for breakfast. It was a great experience for us and we enjoyed every minute. We can highly recommend Debby and her home. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, else we would also have tried the fresh eggs for breakfast as Debby has her own little chicken in the garden. Definitely a highly recommended place to stay near Charleston.
Debbie is a wonderful host! The room was just what we needed and was very convenient (just a 10-15 minute drive) to many of the Charleston sites we wanted to explore. The breakfast was great! She keeps chickens in her yard and prepared fresh eggs for me (gluten free) and French toast for my husband. Debbie and her husband were very accommodating and made sure that we had access to their house even though they had some work going on in their yard. I would definitely stay with them again!
I had never used airbnb before so I relied on the previous reviews which were quite accurate. Deborah's accomodations were very comfortable. She was very welcoming when I arrived. Her home is in a perfect location to reach downtown Charleston and Folly Beach in about 10 min. She gladly prepared a hot breakfast for me both mornings and had an array of cold breakfasts choices available too. If I'm ever again in the area, I'd stay at Deborah's place again!
We had an excellent stay at Debbie's place. We felt welcomed yet were allowed privacy in the clean and welcoming space (bedroom and bathroom, separate area). Debbie had relatives staying in her other airbnb rental and they were friendly yet respectful of her other guests. We brought our small dog and he was welcomed as well. The area is easy access to most places you would want to go around Charleston. We were welcomed each morning with a warm breakfast that was very much appreciated. This was a very pleasant and affordable place to stay!
