Soufiane, was great ! the rooms are super clean, and those taking care of us were all really nice.
thank you for a wonderful stay, would I return to Marrakech, I would with no doubt stay at Soufiane's place again !
Amazing stay at Riad Tapja!
Not only were the rooms very spacious and absolutely beautiful, Soufiane is an excellent host!
All of his recommendations were top-notch and he truly goes out of his way to ensure his guests have an absolutely fantastic experience, even walking us to tourist landmarks to ensure we didn't get lost and setting us up with a nice night of shisha at the Riad.
Definitely give them a try :)
We had the most amazing time in Marrakech, and part of the reason was because we stayed here at Riad Tajpa. We stayed for five nights and loved it.
We arrived in Marrakech and though Soufiane wasn't in the country at the time, we were greeted by Said. He met us near the markets and took us to the riad. Though he spoke barely any English he did everything possible to help us, even getting an English speaking friend to help translate.
The road is in a perfect location, in the maze of the Medina, but not too close to the hustle and bustle of the markets – every night we had a great nights sleep.
To be honest, we got lost almost everyday trying to find our way back to the hotel... But that was all part of the experience. (the locals are usually happy to help you find where you need to go for a price).
Breakfast every morning was delicious. Oh the beads, how we loved them.
We will return to Marrakech for sure, and I'm glad we know exactly where we want to stay again.
Soufiane is a great host, the riad was lovely and quiet and very centrally located! Make sure you ask him lots of questions about tour and the like as he was extremely helpful and saved us a lot of time and money. Merci beaucoup Soufiane!
Un ryad tres acceillant et propre avec un bon emplacement ideale dans la medina. Le petit dejeuner etait bien servi. Malgre tout nous avons etait un peu decu avec l'attitude trop commerciale de Soufiane - dommage!
Just as expected and described. Soufiane and Said were wonderful and went out of their way to be helpful. Got us maps, booked the taxis from and back to airport and showed us the way to the main square. The rooms were immaculate, clean and comfortable. One of our rooms had windows to the street which was a little bit noisy on the night of Morroco playing in the football world cup, which is expected as they beat Brazil! Breakfast was lovely too! The terrace was lovely and we were always welcomed with ac up of mint tea. Highly recommended!
I booked 3 rooms for 3 nights with Soufiane and it was a pleasant stay. Soufiane (and the rest who works with him in the riad) was very accommodating and helpful. I had actually mixed up some dates but luckily Soufiane had space in the riad to accommodate my friends and I and everything went smoothly. He took time to show us around the riad as well.
The breakfast each morning was a delicious and a great start to the day. The riad itself was beautiful and nicely decorated, with a big roof terrace (although I didnt get to spend much time there as it was chilly during winter). Bedrooms and bathrooms are well equipped and very comfortable. This riad is not difficult to find and quite close to the souks and easily accessible. Good location if you want to do most tourist things. It does require about a 10 minute walk if you take a taxi/private car as the riad is located in a small road so the cars cannot drop you right outside the riad, and the closest drop off point is about 10 minutes away. That was not a problem for me though so I do recommend this place!
Soufiane was also easily contactable and he made the booking process simple and answered every question that I had.
We had a fabulous experience at the Riad Tajpa! We never could have expected how great the hospitality and the riad would be. Soufiane and Said were always available to help us with any questions we had. They were also kind enough to walk us into the main square the first day and show us around. This was fantastic to find our way around and to decide what we wanted to visit and see later. We were greeted with mint tea, where we were given maps and instructions. We felt right at home from the minute we walked in.
The Riad was beautiful and VERY clean. The rooms were big, and each had its own en-suites which were beautiful as well. The only negative thing I found, was the ground floor bedroom had low water pressure in the shower, but that was it. Everything else was perfect!
The breakfast was delicious, and filling. In general, we had a group of 5, and we all had a great time with Soufiane and Said at the Riad Tajpa! Would definitely recommend and would return if we are ever back in Marrakesh.
Our stay was great. Soufiane was readily contactable and helpful. He arranged for the taxi to pick us up from the airport and walked us into the Souk on our first day.
Our room was just as it was photographed and very clean.
Breakfast was served at a time which suited us which was a great touch.
Thanks for all the help and for an amazing stay
