We had an awesome stay in Rome. Check-In and Check-Out was very convenient and the apartement was equipped with everything we needed.
Paola had prepared plenty of informations including restaurants, public transport and supermarkets. She brought a friend who spoke very good english and explained everything perfectly.
The apartment is located in San Lorenzo, which is a student area, which results in some lively weekends and walls and windows are pretty thin, but this did not keep us from a good night rest, after strolling all over Rome.
Bus and tram are a 5 minute walk away and bring you everywhere.
Thanks Paola for hosting us and all the best to you.
The apartment is exactly as described. It is tidy and well located (close to shops, restaurants and markets.) It's a twenty-minute walk from/to Termini Station. The mattress in the bedroom is very comfortable; the one in the hide-a-bed is good as well. Expect a bit of noise on the weekend since the bar on the ground floor hosts bands regularly. The rooftop view was unbelievable.
Great place! Hosts were super nice, and helped us coordinate with the airline because of lost luggage --and delivered it to the flat for us. We are very thankful for that. It also helped that there is a washer for us to use too . Only thing is the neighbourhood is quite noisy (even until 5am on a wednesday). It is relatively convenient--buses would be your best bet . If you have lots of luggage the 15-20min walk to Termini will seem long. thank you Ludo and Paola!!
Lovely clean flat with a good sized modern bathroom. Local area is fun and full of students and cheap bars and Roma itself is one of the best cities in the world. Highlight was definitely the bed- probably the comfiest I have ever slept in! Paolo who greeted us late in the evening was very friendly and showed us round the flat. Only negatives would be that the location, which was a +40 minute walk from most of Rome's main sightseeing (although there are a couple of buses that speed this up) and the bar downstairs, which you could hear pretty loudly on a Saturday night, although that could have been avoided by going downstairs and joining them.. Thank you for having us Ludovico and I look forward to coming back to Roma!
Ludovico and his team were nice but a bit hard to reach. We figured out the best way to reach them was via airbnb message, not SMS or phone call, which is a bit inconvenient for us since we don't always have internet available.
The apartment is really clean, spacious, newly renovated and well equipped although located in a very old & worn out building (from the outside look, the inside is quite ok). We got power cut off once for some random reason but his team has given us direction on how to turn it back on (After a few phone calls, sms as mentioned above)
The location is as in the map, quite far from public transport. It took us ~ 30 mins walking from the apartment to the station which is a bit demotivated since getting a taxi in Rome is not the easiest with the taxi services limited English speaking.
