About this listing
SPECIAL PRICE for limited time only!
The small but comfortable apartment is located right next to the Spree river, in a renovated building, on the ground floor, behind a quiet backyard.
The flat consists of 2 double bedrooms, hallway, a small but fully functional kitchen, and bathroom. One of 2 bedrooms is closed off, as this used to be my bedroom and I still use it as storage, but you get the rest of the flat to yourself. The wooden floors, high ceilings and central heating provide a clean and relaxing setting to rest after a busy day out.
Full access to the apartment (except for my former bedroom)
Friedrichshain is arguably the most exciting neighbourhood in Berlin. While its busiest spots are just a short walk away, the flat itself is on a quiet street. There is also a supermarket at the corner.
The nearby Ostkreuz S-Bahn station is a strategic transport hub which provides easy and quick access to any part of the city, both its airports, and all railroad routes.
There are many options for public transport, but basically:
Schönefeld Airport: 35' with S9.
Tegel Airport: 49' with Bus TXL + S42.
Berlin Ostbahnhof: 13' with S7
Berlin Südkreuz: 18' with S42
Berlin Hauptbahnhof: 30' with S7
Bus Station: ZOB am Funkturm / Messe Nord: 48' with S42

Parking: Our street is just outside the city's Umweltzone. So parking on the street is free and you don't need the LEZ sticker either ;)
IMPORTANT, READ ENTIRELY!
Check-in: After 13:00
Check-out: Before 12:00 (noon/midday).
The building and apartment doors have a device which allow me to open the doors remotely, with my phone.
If you come between 12:00 and 13:00, you will find me there, as this when I do the cleaning. If you come after 13:00, I won't be home, but will open the doors remotely. When you reach the building, simply make a missed call to my mobile phone: I will call you back, open the doors, and guide you trough the house. You will find a set of keys inside, of course.
If you arrive in the morning, I can give you directions to luggage lockers near the house. Please ask and I will email you a PDF with a picture guide.
Once you are here:
I beg guests to take shoes off at the entrance, so you might want to bring some slippers/flip-flops/extra pair of clean shoes.
No smoking around the house, except for the kitchen (closed door & open window).
Unfortunately the use of P2P software in Germany is punished by law, so in order to get the Wi-Fi password I will ask you to sign a piece of paper where you agree NOT to do so. I hate having to do this, but fines go up to EUR 5000!
