This was our first time using Airbnb and it was brilliant! Really easy to book, and the room was absolutely beautiful, with the bathroom across the corridor, and just how we imagined, if not better. As for the breakfast, it was amazing - everything you could wish for, from fresh fruit, juices, cereals, yoghurt and even a cooked breakfast! Irene was a super hostess, giving us tips on what to see in Edinburgh. She was really friendly and couldn't have done more for us. The location was perfect for us and we would definitely consider going there again - the next people were having three beds in the room! Airbnb is definitely something we would use again and I'm delighted we were introduced to it.
My friend and I come from China. Although we have studied in the UK for almost two years, we were both impressed by the delicate decoration and so many details. No doubt, this is the place where I want to stay next time if I have a chance. The host is really amiable. The room is lovely, tidy and clean. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast made by the host. Not long walk from this place to main streets and Edinburgh Waverley station. Nice view out of the window. Quiet and scenic neighbourhood. Perfect experience. It is certainly good value for money.
A great place to stay! A very warm welcome was given by Tessa - plenty of information and suggestions. She could answer all our questions. The location was perfect for our stay; everything in walking distance. Lovely room and delicious breakfast. If ever we are visiting Edinburgh again we will return to India Street.
I was made to feel very welcome indeed and I have absolutely no complaints about the hospitality at all. The premises were lovely, clean, well kept and well appointed. The breakfast room/ kitchen was great, taking in the sun and overlooking the street below the end of India street. I was made to feel very comfortable, even giving me a sofa to watch the Ireland Scotland rugby match. The area was central and within reasonable walking distance of most of the places I was going to in Edinburgh. A great place to stay when visiting Edinburgh.
What an amazing place to stay! Irene made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely and so was the neighbourhood. Will definitely be back.
We had a great stay at India Street. Irene is a very good host with a wealth of local knowledge. The room was peaceful, warm and comfortable and the breakfast delicious, a good start to a busy days sightseeing and shopping, almost all within walking distance. (We did take the bus to the Royal Yacht Britannia).
Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes B&B in guter Lage.
