Stay at this A-Frame just steps from Lake Kachess, your summer basecamp for swimming, kayaking, and hiking. Surrounded by pines and mountain views, it’s the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Enjoy 35-ft windows, a cozy reading nook, soaking tub, and open living space for unwinding after a day outdoors.

The space
Welcome to your private 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom A-frame home nestled in the stunning Cascade Mountains. Immerse yourself in the beauty of serene forests, enjoy relaxing walks and invigorating hikes, and engage in a multitude of exciting outdoor activities right outside your door.

Inside, our cozy yet stylishly decorated home boasts a private entrance and all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including Starlink WIFI. The full kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, stove, oven, freezer, refrigerator, microwave, and cooking utensils, with some spices provided for your convenience.

Our home is just 15 minutes from Snoqualmie Pass ski area and tubing center, and a 5-minute drive to Lake Kachess campgrounds with beach and boat launch access. Come stay with us and experience the natural wonders of the Cascade Mountains in comfort and style.

WINTER NOTICE: The roads to our house can be snowy and icy despite plowing, so we recommend checking the weather at WSDOT for Snoqualmie Pass before your trip. Be sure to bring shoes with good traction or ice cleats, and an AWD or 4WD vehicle with chains to navigate the roads. If you're feeling adventurous, explore the snow-covered landscape with snowshoes or tall winter boots, but please exercise caution as snow may fall from the roof.

WINTER NOTICE: Mountain storms occasionally lead to power outages lasting anywhere from 5 minutes to 48 hours. Please be aware that during such situations, there won't be access to water, heat, or electricity. While we provide a propane cooking stove for emergencies, we kindly suggest considering heading home if the pass allows. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.

NOTICE ABOUT FIREPLACE: The wood-burning stove is intended for use only during power outages, as maintaining a consistent fire in this particular model can be challenging. Please refrain from using the wood-burning stove. If there is evidence of unauthorized use, an additional charge will be applied to cover liability concerns.

Guest access
You'll have exclusive access to the entire left A-Frame unit, ensuring complete privacy during your stay. The right A-frame unit is occupied full-time, so you can rest assured that your peaceful retreat won't be disturbed. The home is secured with a convenient keypad entry system, providing easy access without the need for keys.

Other things to note
The property boasts a sense of community, with two other families residing nearby in the charming A-frame to the right of your space and in the main lodge atop the property, out of sight. As an added bonus, a friendly dog is also a resident of the property, eager to welcome you with wagging tail and endless playfulness.

PLEASE NOTE: You are in the mountains and with that there may be some ant friends that make their way inside. We treat regularly, but some have shown "hulk strength" and continue to make their way indoors. They are completely harmless and just another perk of being out of the city.
