Interaction with Guests
This is our home, so we are here throughout your stay. We clean your bathroom and tidy your bedroom every day, but otherwise we try to give you space to relax.
This region is famous for its wine - from Bordeaux in the west, through St Emilion across to Monbazillac in the East. We live in a peaceful place, surrpunded by vineyards, but within driving distance of many towns with restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping.
You need a car to stay with us. The nearest train station is Sainte-Foy-la-Grande (11km) and the nearest TGV station is Libourne ( 37km) Airports are at Bergerac (39km) and Bordeaux (80km)
You will have your own room key and front door key.
There are no written house rules - we think that all of our guests are considerate enough to look after our property, as the french say, 'comme un bon père'.
For the safety and comfort of all our guests, we do not allow pets or smoking at Gorce.

About the Host, Debbie
I moved to France to get away from the nine to five grind, and I live in the most peaceful surroundings possible. There are deer and rabbits running through the vineyards that surround us, hawks hovering over them and the sun is warm on my face for nine months of the year. I spend my time doing things I enjoy, for myself, instead of for a boss, and I love it!
