About This Listing
Private bedroom and connected small bathroom in a very accessible Tucson neighborhood. Off street parking, cool central a/c, high speed reliable internet.
Thanks for checking out my listing. The space in question is my guest room with a small private bathroom. It is quiet here, close to the university and the medical school. My house is also one mile south of the Rillito wash with great paths for running. The full kitchen is ready for you and well as my beautiful yard. Linens are all here for you, there is also tons of storage. The closet is stocked with hangers and there are drawers for you to use. The house has a brand new central a/c. Parking is off street. My neighborhood is made up of families and graduate students. There is a large park 4 blocks away. I don't have cable, but I do have a Roku box streaming hulu plus and netflix. Mi casa es su casa. I have a loaner bicycle that I keep maintained for guests. Donation toward the bicycle is appreciated.
Guests have full access to the kitchen, living room, study area and backyard.
Quiet neighborhood. Park is just a few blocks away. Mix of grad students and families.
Bus stop is close, but bike or car is desired.
You can smoke outside.
Clean kitchen with everything you need. Study area as well! That is a guest using the dining room for studying.
Jamie was very friendly and respectful. The bedroom and washroom were clean and offered the essentials. Thanks again for the warm hospitality.
Jamie was an incredibly gracious host. On multiple occasions she went out of her way to make her home feel like my own. Of the six different hosts I've had over the past year Jamie was by far the best, most accommodating, and truly wonderful host. Her dog Sienna is perhaps the world's most well-behaved and lovable dog. I cannot say enough nice things about this experience. The room was large and very clean, and the private bathroom was perfect. A plethora of amenities were provided, a cleaning woman comes once a month, and the park within walking distance was lovely. Jamie's boyfriend is a gentleman and I now consider them both friends. Simply put, if you have the opportunity to stay at Jamie's, you are fortunate. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable home away from home, this is the place for you.
Jamie was a great host. She was friendly, knowledgeable, had great suggestions, and was sharing/helpful. Her house is well situated in midtown, making for relatively easy access to downtown, rillito river path, outlying areas and outdoor destinations. The accomodations were perfect (private room with bath), and the basics were covered. I felt very comfortable during my month.
Very welcoming and friendly. Room was as described. Nice area. Easy to get to hospital.
I stayed here for one month as I was relocating to Tucson for graduate school. The place worked out great and Jamie was a wonderful host. She was very friendly and gave me tons of information about Tucson which helped me get my bearings here. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to downtown and the University campus that it is still within biking distance. I highly recommend it!

About the Host, Jamie
I love living in the La Madera neighborhood of Tucson. Lots of trees and quiet, but a short drive or bike ride to downtown.
I treat smoothie making as an art form. I am happiest when riding a bicycle:-) When at home I can be found doing Pilates, when out downtown I can be found enjoying craft beer amongst friends. I love hiking with my dog:-)
