Ellen was very nice and was on time with our meeting. She also was kind enough to invite us out for dinner and show us where to get water, food, etc. she also took time showing us where to go in a map she provided. The place was super spacious. It was actually too big for 2 people but why complain? Highly recommended if you are visiting Berlin.
We booked this apartment for a weekend with 5 persons. 2 Couples and 1 single. It was easy to find the apartment and there also was free parking in front of the building! Also its a 10 min to Berlin Haubtbahnhof!
We had some contact with the host before and she asked us to pick up the keys at her apartment. Actually these were the only 5 minutes we have seen her.
The apartment was big and everything was there even a dish washer! High ceilings and spacious rooms. There were 2 bedrooms and in the living room there was a big sleeping couch. Everthing was fine the only thing that was a minus was that it was not really clean.
Great appartment. Spacious, airy, light, well equipped, quiet, in a good location. Ellen was very friendly and welcoming. It was very handy that we could park our car in front of the apartment block for free - quite unexpected in the center of Berlin.
One of the best Airbnb experiences for me so far, would definitely stay again. Ellen was super sweet and accomodating for our arrival from the airport. The apartment is just like the listing, really comfortable, clean, quiet and warm. The place is centrally located, within walking distance to the U, shops and the Berlin Wall Memorial (which is really awesome). Really had a great time in Berlin. :)
The location is really great: the apartment is just a 10 minute walk away from the Hauptbahnhof train station and it's 20 mn away from Unter den Linden. The apartment is spacious, bright, well decorated and very comfortable. However, the couch in the living-room does not make a very confortable bed and there are no drapes on the windows, so you're sure to be up as soon as the sun comes up! Since there were four of us in the apartment, we would have liked to have an extra set of keys, which unfortunately did not happen. I can recommend this apartment.
