I stayed at Antonia's place as an alternative to my usual hotel. Antonia is extremely supportive and helpful, her flat is in a quite location , very near to the Southbank and two minutes from the Northern Line.
A full English Breakfast and the complete use of the kitchen are to appreciate a lot. Though the bathroom wasn't in suite this was not a problem, I seemed to be the only one using it.
There are pro and con's towards staying in a hotel, that you may notice more if you are travelling for business than if on holiday
A good overall experience
Antonia is the perfect host, welcoming and friendly. The flat is like a home from home and if you like contemporary design you will be in for a treat. Really convenient for the City and West End. My wife and I loved the stay and will be back in future. Thanks for a lovely stay Antonia
Antonia was most welcoming and helped make our short stay in London really enjoyable. This was our first airbnb stint and we're hooked! (As experienced home exchangers we really can appreciate that staying in someone's home is so much nicer than staying in an impersonal hotel.) Bedroom was lovely and cosy and breakfasts delicious. Antonia's place is also ideally situated, close to the tube, just a couple of stations to central London. Highly recommended.
It was my first airbnb experience. I spent three nights at Antonia's place together with my 14 year old brother. It's very close to the tube station "Kennington" and you can get quickly to all the sights of London. Antonia was a really nice host. She gave us useful "insider" tips for our sightseing tour and it was really interesting chatting with her. Her flat has a special artist flair and is very clean. We were allowed to make tea and coffee whenever we want. The room was very comfortable and there was enough space for two people. Towels and a fridge in our room were provided. Moreover, we could use the shampoo hence there is no need to take shampoo and towels with you. Antonia made breakfest every morning: english breakfest, cereals, fruits, toast... she even made fresh orange juice for my brother and tried to fulfill his exigent teenager wishes concerning food. She even made cookies and a cake for us - so i can highly recommend to stay at her place!!!
To stay at Antonia's home was like visiting a friend! She was super kind and helpfull. Gave us some advises were to go and also mad resevations for us. She was more than just a host. The flat is lovely and near by the tube so everything in London is reachable in a short time. If you are looking for the perfect stay in London so contact Antonia.
We stayed for a long weekend at Antonia's appartment. The place is very reachable from the city. Walkdistance to Westminster and Victoria station. But very close to tube. You feel welcome in the appartment with shared bathroom wc kitchen and livingroom.
Antonia is a friendly gracious host. She goes out of her way to make you feel at home, away from home. She is a greatly talented person and the spatial design of the rooms are just breath taking. It is very easy to have fun talks with her, and if you need an in-depth-talk about culture history this is definitely the best place to stay.
The location is perfect for tourists that want to see the real London, and/ or easily connected to the London sights and touristic attractions.
The first time I saw actual stars at night in London was from her quaint balcony that has a beautiful morning view of Kennington park.
Lovely place. Antonia was very friendly and helpful. She makes you feel like home.
Comfortable place with nice location. Antonia is so great and helpful. Little Biba is so energetic and adorable.
Gorgeous place. Antonia was so friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and provided a great start to the day. Only a short walk to the tube, excellent location. Little Biba was also a delight to stay with.
