Your feedback is very important for me, tell me how I can improve my hosting if you find something was wrong.
I look forward to host you really soon.
Marie Josée was a fantastic host, providing great communication and local information, she even came to meet us at the train station to take us to the apartment.
The apartment itself is great - compact yet perfect for a couple. It is situated right next to the cathedral, seconds from the main square and canal. As would be expected for such a central location, there is some city noise, but that shouldn't put you off at all as the location is really fantastic. I highly recommend staying here!
A wonderful experience from the very first step all the way through our departure. Marie Josée was welcoming in our email correspondence and met us at the train station upon our arrival, driving us the short way to the apartment. The apartment, directly across from the Cathedral, is pristine, nicely furnished, with an abundance of light and fresh air, and even a guitar and books. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and work wonderfully. There were outlets and surge suppressors for our use, as well as linen and towels. This is an intimate, charming, and perfectly designed apartment for two. The stairs--only a few, but narrow and winding--could be a little tricky for very young children or adults who need assistance. Otherwise, ideal in every sense. Living next to the Cathedral, with its bells, which are never intrusive, and close to the main square and the shops of downtown and fabulously diverse and stocked market of fresh foods, from cheeses and wines, to pastries, to meats and vegetables. It was an excellent choice of accommodation. We very strongly recommend Marie Josée's apartment.
The communication and the reception of Marie Josée was almost perfect and easy going. She gave us all the information we needed for the apartment and the beautiful city of Narbonne.
The location is in the heart of the city just next to the cathedral and 3 minutes walk to the town hall square, the canal and the market hall.
The apartment is very modern, fully equipped, clean and quiet.
We can highly recommend this place and Marie Josée as a very friendly and helpful host.
Merci beaucoup Marie Josée et à la prochaine!
Our stay with MJosée was fantastic. MJosée and Ravi were the most accommodating AirBnB hosts! They picked us up from the train station and provided an umbrella for the pouring rain we were not prepared for. They even brought our bags into the space when the room was ready since we arrived several hours before check in. And when we did finally get into the space MJosée had left fresh cookies made that very morning! We have absolutely no complaints and would completely recommend staying here!
Marie Josee's apartment is in a fantastic location, right in the centre of the old town. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a great stay including a big shower with plentiful hot water, strong wifi and a comfortable bed.
The area is quiet and safe.
Marie Josee herself was wonderful, very thoughtful of our welfare and passionate about her town Narbonne. She passed on a wealth of information about what to do and see and was always available to help if needed. We had a delicious lunch with her and her partner and spent a thoroughly enjoyable evening with them at the local Irish pub.
Marie Josee very kindly met us at the station when we arrived. The charming little apartment was just ten minutes walk away, ideally situated right beside the cathedral in the heart of Narbonne. Shops, restaurants, museums the canal and the market were just minutes away. We really enjoyed our three days' stay and hope to return.
What a charming hostess - Marie Josee was responsive and helpful AND she met us at the station and put bottles of chilled water ready for us! The flat was just as it seems from the pictures, right next to the cathedral, bright and airy, five minutes' walk from the covered market (yummy), the famous canal, about ten minutes' from the station (actually easy to find, so you don't HAVE to be met). Everything worked beautifully, from wifi to washing machine. Narbonne is a charming place, we were only there for two nights and we didn't explore much but much of the centre is pedestrianised, or with very little traffic, and with a free mini-bus whizzing around the centre, Roman remains and every layer of history since in clear evidence. The flat is perfectly placed, close to shops and restaurants, but restful... and it came with a guitar (I don't play, unfortunately, but if you did, how cool would that be?). If you had very large suitcases you might find the stairs a little narrow, but that would be the only drawback I can think of.
This is how good it can be. Astonishing location, lovely town, amazing host, very well organised apartment. Some hosts just know how to do it properly, Marie Josée sets the bar very high. This stay is going to be hard to beat!
Excellent séjour dans cet appartement idéalement situé au centre historique de Narbonne.
Notre hôtesse est charmante et nous aurons probablement l'occasion de revenir avec grand plaisir.
