Lovely apartment in a nice neighborhood. Clean and well appointed. Very convenient location - supermarket nearby and close to public transport. Martin was a nice host; answered all our queries promptly and even helped to arrange for a taxi to take us to the train station.
This apartment was the perfect base for 3 days exploring Copenhagen. Many places we wanted to visit were only a 15 minute walk away. Other places can be reached by bus, with a couple of bus stops close by. The neighbourhood was great, with plenty of cafes and cool restaurants nearby. I'd recommend a great pizza place called Mother. Martin was very helpful when we arrived, he gave us tips for things to do and where we could rent bikes. After that he left us to ourselves which was great. The apartment itself is ideal - it was very clean, with a large comfy bed and hot + powerful shower. The balcony is a lovely little suntrap in the morning!
Martin met us to give us the keys and show us his apartment. It was exactly as pictured and centrally located to great restaurants, several of which Martin recommended and we enjoyed. A great downtown location.
Martin was an awesome host! It was a great flat, as described. He did a great job with decor, and although modestly sized, had everything we needed. I loved the efficiency of it. Vesterbro was the PERFECT neighborhood for living in Copenhagen for 5 days, very hip..comfortable and lots to see. I loved that there was a nice grocery store just a quarter block up on the corner, and across the street from that a great neighborhood pub type environment that is also a cafe during the day. You have a choice of stairs or the elevator here, we chose the stairs. It is no problem for a fit person. Martin's flat is perfectly located to reach all parts of Copenhagen easily..we often walked, rarely needing a taxi. I loved that it was a 25 min train ride to Sweden if you are looking for a day trip. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it highly if you want to live as a Dane does in wonderful Copenhagen.
Martin came as soon as we called when we arrived. He had all of the information the we needed avaible. We felt welcomed and knew that we could call him at any time if we hsd questions. The apartment looked like the pictures. The kitchen area was well supplied for our needs, the internet worked well, and we slept soundly. The neighborhood was quiet overall and food shopping had god selection and was in the building. The apartment wss within walking distance of what we wanted to see.
Martin's studio is ideally placed for a Copenhagen city break. We stayed for 3 nights and we had everything we needed. Easy walk and bike ride to all tourist areas, supermarket downstairs and Martin was helpful when needed and not intrusive. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting this amazing city.
