Hertz and Enterprise are literally walking distance from the apartment if you need to rent a car at any point. They are on the nearby list which you will receive upon booking. Seems everyone rents from airport and you will pay so much more, plus the added hassle of having to get the car back to the airport.

Walking distance to public transportation which gets you downtown in approximately 20-25 minutes depending on which bus you take. You have many options within a couple of blocks.

****I recommend downloading the PocketMuni app for the most accurate bus arrival and departure times.
*38 Geary & 38BX: at 3rd and Geary (runs 24 hours)

You are also just a 2 block walk from Clement Street which has a ton of amazing local eateries and retail shops. Golden Gate Park is just a 15 minute walk as well. If you have cat allergies or don't like cats, this is not the place for you. Please don't ask me to lock my cat in another room because I won't do it.

Last but not least, it is cold here most of the time, especially in the evening. San Francisco has micro climates. You might be in one neighborhood and its warm and sunny & then you go somewhere else within 10 minutes & it will be windy and foggy. Make sure to pack some sweaters/jackets or you will definitely be buying one while you
are here. : )

It just depends on what I have going on for the week. I'm not home that much, but I'm always available to answer questions and make suggestions even if I am not around.

It's clean and quiet, but also close enough to tons of reasonably priced fantastic restaurants and bars. You are also super close to Golden Gate park which is always nice. The 38 bus also runs 24 hours so that makes it very convenient.

  • Awesome stay, as always, with Coraly. I'm a repeat guest because she is a thoughtful and amazing host and the bed is really comfortable. I'm not a huge cat fan, yet Elliott has won me over. He's an equally great host and will leave you alone but also is grateful for any attention you pay him snuggling on the couch. Very quiet room and great access to Geary St, a major West-East thoroughfare for easy access to central SF.

  • Excellent and super friendly host. Comfortable bed. I would not hesitate to stay here again or contact Coraly just to say hi the next time I'm in town.

    March 2014
  • Very nice space. Great location and friendly host.

    February 2014
  • We had a great stay at Coraly's place with a very comfortable queen bed. Her place is clean, lovely and in a great quiet neighborhood in Richmond just minutes from Golden Gate Park, and close to great food. It also had easy bus lines directly to Union Square/Haight/Hayes Valley. She's highly organized and was very helpful with suggestions and city advice.

    February 2014
  • Great host & a lovely place - hard to find fault really. Near some good local bars and restaurants, and only a short bus ride / 20 minute walk to Haight St. All in all, fully recommended.

    February 2014
  • Elliott was a fantastic host, he made sure we were always greeted at the door and cuddled on the couch. Coraly keeps a welcoming, warm, clean, quiet place and there's not much more we could have asked for. The location is super convenient, and Coraly is super open to sharing about her neighborhood, restaurant reccos, shows currently in town, even the local real estate market. This was our first Airbnb experience and now we're thinking about becoming hosts ourselves, that's how great it was.

  • Great stay with Coraly & Elliott. Very clean and cozy. Great bedding and electric blanket made chilly nites no problem. Easy to get every where from her place. Very peaceful zen experience. Would go back for sure next time I visit SF!

    January 2014
  • Calm, peaceful & clean apartment. Nice neighborhood with access to great restaurants in the vicinity. Elliot the cat was bonus! Met Coraly very briefly and she was a wonderful host. Great communication and very friendly. Thanks Coraly!

    January 2014
  • Initially I only wanted to stay for a few days, but after arriving, I fell in love with the place and decided to stay longer ;)

The place is really cozy, the bed is super comfortable (I rarely slept as deep as in this bed), and of course Coraly is a super awesome host. She has a huge information package for guests regarding restaurants etc.

Of course, I also enjoyed cuddling with Elliott a lot ...

  • Coraly is an amazing host. She really goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable in her home. This is my 3rd stay in her place and it feels like I'm going back to visit a friend. Coraly has done a great job appointing the bedroom with new linens and a super-comfortable bed with tempurpedic pillows. Easy access to Geary which is a main East-West thoroughfare if you need to travel across town.

About
I moved to San Francisco after living in San Diego for 5 years in October 2011. It’s been really great so far! I am enjoying being an Airbnb host, meeting new people and learning everything this city has to offer. I am from Puerto Rico and I do speak Spanish fluently. : ) When I get tired of one place, I move to the next. Coast to coast , I have lived in many different places: The South, the MidWest, the East Coast, and all over the West Coast in California since 1999. : ) I'm a Massage Therapist/Holistic Health Practitioner since 99 and an Esthetician since 07. Even after all these years, I am still in love with what I do. It’s an amazing feeling to wake up every day and not dread going to work. I am a devout yogi and exercise junkie. I practice Yoga, Pilates, and Bar Method 5-6 times a week. I also recently got my post partum doula and birth doula certification. I stay pretty busy between work, working out, and my social life. I am a huge LA Laker fan even though we are having a rough season just like last year . : ( I also host a meetup group called "LA Laker fans of San Francisco. We have an awesome group and watch most the Laker games at our favorite spot, Nickie's in the Haight. I have many interests ranging from wine-tasting in Napa (yes-we are only an hour & 15 minutes away :-), I absolutely love exploring new restaurants, going to concerts at the many venues San Francisco has to offer, plays, bowling even though I’m quite terrible at it, and I really enjoy taking all sorts of classes/lessons. You can find me taking conga, knitting, belly dancing, hula-hooping, salsa and most recently tango & jive. : ) I love to be outside and although this certainly isn’t San Diego, I still try to do a weekly hike, run the stairs, and play tennis when I can. You will never hear the words “I’m bored” come out of my mouth. I am obsessed with my label maker and my BlendTec blender. I have a smoothie every morning, I am a night owl, and you will most likely witness me cleaning when I’m home.
