Guesthouse Kibara is a single home located on a private estate with spacious landscaped lawns, bamboo groves, mountain spring and traditional Japanese ceramic studio set within the quaint village of Kibara.

Guest access
Guests have free access to the entire guesthouse and are free to enjoy the outdoor space on the estate for relaxing, drinking beverages or smoking. The main house on the estate is for hosts' use only. However, guests are welcome to walk through the village to visit the shrine and temple.

Guesthouse Kibara is located on an estate located within the village of Kibara. The residents are farmers and artisans whose descendants settled the area many centuries ago. The villagers are 4-generation families who are quiet, peace loving and very close-to-nature. The natural environment including air and water is pristine.

We are retired and live on a country estate less than an hour from central Tokyo. We love giving tours to the fabulous Naritasan Temples. Stay with us in a beautiful, newly renovated Japanese guesthouse adjacent to our home. It's available all year for overnight stays or longer-stay rentals.
