Most central area in Rome! Between piazza Navona, piazza di Spagna and Pantheon. Charming apartment very quiet and sunny, fully equipped, at the second floor of an ancient historical "palazzo". The owner lives in the same building wich is very helpful in case of problems, questions, suggestions.
Very comfortable sleeping room on a mezzanine (with window), with double bed and wardrobe. Living room with sofa bed, table and chairs, tv and dvd. Air conditioning.
Large kitchen fully equipped.
Free and illimitated WiFi.
Kids items available on demand (high chair, baby bed, toys, stroller...)
Plenty of restaurants and shops in the area (you fill find a list of the best ones). All turistic major sites are at a walking distance from the apartment.
There are a lot of bus, a taxi station, and the metro Spagna at 5 minutes walking.
You will have the unic experience to live in an old roman style building, but with modern comfort. You will go everywhere by feet.
I can provide a private company car to pick you at the airport.
Other Things to Note
how to get to my partment:
take the Train till Termini, then the metro A till Spagna, then walk 10-15 minutes. The train costs about 15 € for each person, the metro 1.50 €. So think about the taxi, which costs 48€. Public transports in Rome are quite bad...
The apt. Is located within a 15 min walk from all major attractions.
The place is just as pictured, very nice and cared for.
The kitchen is quite bkg and very well equipped.
Only 2 downsides as mentiond in other reviews - very small shower and spiral steps (but it is clear from the pics).
Overall, highly recommended!
My husband and I stayed in Martina's apartment for 3 nights. It was exactly as advertised - clean, well-appointed, comfortable. Martina communicated well and was helpful with details about touring Rome. The location is perfect for walking everywhere and is also very safe. High marks all around. Only one surprise -- the circular steps to the loft bed are narrow and steep. Thank you Martina
Martina was an amazing host as she answered any questions we had and was very accommodating. Great place with awesome location close. Very central location without being overly touristy and local restaurants near by. Would definitely go back!
I stayed with my 14 yo daughter at Martina's place in July. Her apartment is located in the old center of Rome with plenty of nice restaurants and shops close by. The apartment has everything you need for a stay with 2 persons, an equipped kitchen, a bathroom (the shower is a little small), a living room, and a bedroom on the mezzanine. There is a sofa-bed, but it is not comfortable for an adult. A good extra of the apartment is the airco, which is quite useful in the summer. Further, it is very quiet, no noise at all. In short, I would definitely go back to Martina's apartment next time I will go to Rome!
Martina's apartment is in a great location, in a nice neighborhood, and very quiet. You can easily walk to all the major tourist sites in about 30 minutes or less; The Pantheon is only about 5 minutes away. Martina had a helpful list of restaurants close by, a guide book and some local maps (all very helpful). The apartment is just like the photos with all the essentials. The WiFi was a big plus. The only bad thing is the uncomfortably small shower. We would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a great location in Rome.
Appartment exactly as advertised, very clean and contained everything one can need. Location is great and Martina went to lengths helping and advising, even fixed a car for our early morning transfer.
The location is amazing! We walked to everything and never had to take public transportation. The air conditioning worked well, and it was very quiet at night. Bathroom was typical European bathroom with small shower. Martina left a handout with recommendations for good local restaurants, and she was right on- they were great. We only saw her one time- we had a problem with the shower, and she came over and had it fixed immediately. The stairs up to the apartment are wide and easy to navigate with luggage. The spiral stairs up to the bed are a bit tricky to navigate in the night when you have to use the bathroom- it is a very narrow spiral staircase (FYI- I am in my mid thirties and an athlete). Overall, the location can't be beat and it is a quaint apartment.
I think you will love this apartment. It is quiet, bright, very central, in a beautiful ancient building.
I leave in the same building with my daughters. i work in publishing, I like reading, playing music, movies and theater.
I can suggest you interesting things to do in Rome and help you to book exhibitions, theater, etc.
I leave in the apartment a list with the best restaurants and shops in teh corner.
Hoping to see you soon in Rome!
