Stylish, spacious and very bright with two bedrooms located in the lively Kreuzberg district, right on ENGELBECKEN! The apartment is located in a charming old building, tucked away on a quiet street. The charm of this apartment is the mix of art, design and typical old Berlin style. Beautiful hardwood flooring is found throughout the living area, and charming old wooden doors and a pleasant generosity and openness lend a wonderful living environment. There is a large and very well equipped kitchen with open plan kitchen island and gas stove. A dining table offers seating for up to 6 people. There is a comfortable sofa to relax, a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. The bathroom has a tub with shower, large mirror, exquisite fittings and is very spacious. In the backyard of the building itself is a big sandbox for the little ones.
..is currently one of the hippest districts of Berlin, an endless variety of clubs, bars, restaurants and cafes and shops to suit all tastes are strung together. The apartment is located in 1a-location in the lively part of Kreuzberg. But it is very quiet, on the ENGELBECKEN as direct (popular romantic meeting place, with gardens, sun terraces + Café on Engelbecken). I am always happy to help you find what you are looking for.
The apartment is close to Alexanderplatz (5min with the U8). In just a few minutes you can walk from the main street of the neighborhood to SO 36 (a popular local concert club) : The Oranienstr. is the absolute hot spot of the district with its numerous bars, shops, international cuisine and colorful folk. There are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities around. Artists: You can get lost in the MODULOR store at Moritzplatz, watch out!
There are endless possibilities for going out, all located close-by: clubs, bars and restaurants in the vicinity and can be reached on foot in few minutes: Kit Kat Club/Sage Club (700m), Tresor Club (500m) , Ballhaus Naunystr. (700m), Luzia (500m), just to name a few. Berghain is a short taxi ride away.
Right next to the apartment you will find a children's farm with animals. There are highchairs and a baby-bed in the apartment. In the courtyard of the building is a large sandbox. Babies sleep for free (be sure to let us know before arriving)
Other Things to Note
Berlin has 5% city tax. This is not included in the price. It is possible to opt out of paying the city tax if you are in Berlin on business.
Please note that you have neighbors, and they are not on vacation.
Please also be quieter after 22.00, it is the law ;)
please ask about bringing pets before booking.
This is not a party apartment. It is also a non-smoking apartment.
Check-ins after 21.00 are 10 Euros more per started hour.
Note: If you are coffee drinkers, it is advisable to bring Nespresso Tabs with you. We do provide some, but they are difficult to come by in Berlin.
Now that all the rules are out of the way, enjoy yourself!
We really enjoyed out stay in the flat. It worked incredibly well for us. The flat was very warm and comfortable and looked just like the photos. It was in a great position for getting to the main Berlin sites.
The booking was made really easy by Eric and it all went very smoothly. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Eric!
the pictures are entirely accurate; the apartment was comfortable and quiet---everything was clean and easy to use.
we enjoyed our stay very much.
The flat was as described which is an amazing flat in a great neighborhood. All easy access to everywhere and had no hard time.
Great apartment in a brilliant part of town. Very big and light - a real home from home. Just the place for 2 couples to spend New Year. Would definitely return.

I'm down to earth, like to meet new people, be with friends, travel, cook, eat, drink, snowboard---not necessarily in that order. When I have the time, I like to work with plastic, making art or objects. I am currently building a startup for specialty printing (feel free to ask ;) of art.
I came to Berlin in 2006, absolutely loved the city, and decided to stay. Originally I wanted to open a hostel here, but now I host in apartments instead. Most of the flats I have listed here are from other owners, I take care of them in their absence. Working with multiple apartments can be quite hard work, but my favorite part is meeting with my guests, it is very rewarding.
I know my way around Berlin pretty well, and can give good tips on where to go when you are in the city. I do my best to make sure the flats are accommodating and comfortable, as I am a traveler myself.
I have an agency, we are now a team of 5 people working together, so do not be surprised if you get an answer from Szandra on my account or if you meet someone altogether different at the apartment, you will be well taken care of, and you can always reach someone who can help you out if need be.
People are important! We will do our best to satisfy your needs. Our apartments are kept very clean, and we respond to all feedback. Professionally cleaned sheets and towels are included, so is a hair dryer and iron. You will also find little comforts in our apartments, such as tea, books, spices... Calendars are up to date, and we are on time. We work hard so you can enjoy your vacation!
