Hello Travelers! Welcome to Seattle! This is a room near the Volunteer Park area, upper Capitol Hill, most desirable area to live in in Seattle. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, private parking (no extra charge), central location, with flexible check-in and check-out times, and a friendly host, you have come to the right place. It's real easy to get to my place.
It's so important to have a clear close up photo for your profile. This is also an Airbnb recommendation.
This is safety for all involved. My photo should be an example. You know how it is, make up vs. no make, hair up or down.
It makes sense that you want to know what your host looks like before you book and I should have no problem recognizing you as my guest when you arrive at my door if there is a clear profile photo of you.
If you try to give me your social media site airbnb will block it. Same with telephone numbers.
Once payment is complete you will receive confirmation with my address, phone number and more detailed directions to my place from airbnb. I prefer all communications right here, texting or a call to my cell phone.
Transportation to my place:
If you are coming from Seatac airport, you can take the sound transit link to downtown Westlake Station which is the last stop. Look for the Macy's exit (Pine & 4th). The train ride is about 35 minutes. Purchase a one way ticket for $2.75 or you can put any value on an orca card which will be good for buses, street cars, sound transit link, trains and ferries to the islands. You can purchase the card from the sound transit link machine at the airport or a supermarket in my neighborhood.
From downtown take bus 49 from Pike street and 4th Avenue. It is one street over south of Pine Street. Bus fare is $2.25 or 2.75 (rush hour fare).
If you prefer a taxi ride from downtown, it takes approximately 10 minutes and a flat fee of $10 from Westlake station. Please confirm with taxi driver for fare.
You can walk from Westlake station, the route is on streets with lots of shops and restaurants. Approx. 30 minutes.

A mammoth tusk was found at a construction site in South Lake Union and tusk was transported to the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture on the UW campus. The tusk says it's good to be at a 5 star museum but "I could use a little more heat."
Alexia's place is wonderful. Walking distance to everything and she obviously puts a lot of effort into creating the best experience for her guests.
This was such a great location! Right in the heart of Capitol Hill and a literally 4 minute walk (LITERAL) to the main artery of the area. I was able to go to a cute little movie theater in the middle of the night because it was literally two minutes from her house.
Wonderful bed -- very comfortable, very clean, a great value. Bathroom is huge. Alexia is a great host as well!
Alexia was a great hostess and the room/house was clean and very comfortable. I stayed at this place for a few nights... even though I did not have a car, it was very easy for me to get everywhere in the city. Really, the location cannot be beat. Thank you Alexia for all the information and conversation!
We had a great time at Alexia's place. Room was simple and everything was clean, great location and Alexia was extremely friendly and helpful. We would go there again. Thank you Alexia for everything :)
Alexia's apt was clean, cozy & in a great location! Alexia is a wonderful host! She's welcoming and gave me great recommendations of sightseeing and restaurant. I would highly recommend her apartment to everyone!
Clean room, beautiful neighborhood and a friendly host. Even with my short stay, Alexia was kind to recommend me the best of Seattle.
Alexia is super friendly and very organized. She has airbnb down to a science! She gives you a well put together sheet with anything you need to know about visiting Seattle. PRIME location, right near the heart of Capitol Hill, which has so much to do, even with a 2 week stay you'd never see it all. Parking is very.. compact, so good luck if you're driving anything bigger than a Ford Focus!
Very clean rooms and the miracle of convenient off street parking - Alexia has clear house rules that make things run smoothly. She is up front and honest, knowledgeable about her neighborhood, helpful and attentive to detail.
I enjoyed visiting with her during my brief stay. Thank you Alexia!
Alexia was lovely and her home was very clean! She makes one mean coffee!!!
The host was very neat and the place was as advertised. The place was in a great neighborhood and easy to get around there.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
