This beautiful early-1900s red brick building overlooks Main Street is the super-hip Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. Transit going in all directions, a nearby subway going directly to the airport and downtown, delicious restaurants at every turn, and shopping galore, this is the spot to be in.
The room contains a queen-sized bed and full dresser, as well as a desk. A large window opens to the roof and overlooks the North Shore mountains, the Heritage Hall clock, and Main Street. There is laundry in the building, guest parking, and a large kitchen with a gas-range stove and dishwasher for your convenience. Also, wireless internet and a television in the living room.
There are a number of parks nearby, the False Creek seawall is within walking distance, and there are restaurants all over the place nearby. Main Street is a fantastic area for strolling around and getting the vibe of Vancouver, and the apartment is just a short bus ride to downtown.

Robin is a fantastic host - very accommodating and easy to get along with, and is his roommate Jens. The location is fantastic, with many great restaurants and bars in close proximity with easy walking and free parking. I definitely recommend staying here!
I've been at Robin's for a week with my girlfriend.... great place to stay! Just a bus far from downtown and a great roommate, Jens, who'll help you out with anything!
Robin will take care of you, I'll promise!
Very nice appartment, very conveniently located. Robin and his roomate where very nice and we had a very pleasant evening. I have only one complaint: no light by the bed to enable me to read while my wife was sleeping :), which is really a small thing. The bathroom was really clean which is paramount for me, and the appartment very spacious, pleasant and clean. Vey good experience, thanks!

This was a beautiful place to stay! My husband and I loved being within walking distance of some great coffee shops, shopping and good eats. Public transportation was right outside our door and extremely easy for us to figure out and use. Our hosts gave us great suggestions on what to do while in town and we ended up walking through a rainforest and biking around an island! Two things we had no idea about before arriving in Vancouver.
I would highly recommend this to anyone!
From the first moment we felt very much at home at Robins place!
He was there when we arrived and showed us around.
His roommate Jens also had great suggestions for hiking-trails and things to do.
A great neighborhood and easy to get downtown by public transport.
Robin's apartment was comfortable and in a great neighborhood with lots of fun restaurants, shops, etc. He and his roommate Jens (and their dog!) were friendly and happy to provide Vancouver suggestions for our to-do list :)
We had a great stay at Robin's place. The location was perfect and very easy to get to using public transit.
Robin went out of his way to be gracious to us. When he learned that a film crew would be shooting a commercial in his (light-filled, comfortable) kitchen for a few hours, he gave us a good bottle of wine. Unnecessary, but fun and appreciated. His building is like an artists' loft in SoHo, huge foyers, dome-high ceilings, very personable folk. Plato's "Republic" and other such are for reading in the laundry.
Robin was a great host! He offered great suggestions for us to get to know Vancouver and was really friendly and welcoming. The apartment was beautiful and it was in a nice neighborhood. It was easy to take the buses into the heart of the downtown as well. I would definitely recommend staying here!
